How much carbs do you take a day?

Around 20-30 g per day, but I don’t do an accurate check, just try to avoid the usual carby foods. Has kept me in ketosis for at least three years.

If you need to reduce it I would attack breakfast first as many people find that carbs are more of a problem early in the day.
I find breakfast is the best meal of the day, a cooked breakfast keeps me going through to lunch time as I can't work on a empty stomach.

I suppose if you sit on a office chair all day you could be alright trying it, but it's not a good idea for manual workers as far as I am concerned.

Normally I stay between 30 to 60 grams per day, today however I went mad and have had in the region of 90 grams blood sugars at the mo are above 13 highest I have had for a long while.

@Riva_Roxaban What do you consider a cooked breakfast for me it's sausage, egg, bacon and a tomato that is pretty low carb the tomato adds a bit but not much in fact that would be pretty well a keto meal.

I am also keen on having a cooked breakfast, bacon and eggs usually, but it is more like 5g of carbs not the 30g that @garyclark82 mentioned.

Not in any particular order or all at once, but I mix and match eggs either as fried or a cheese omelette, bacon, sausages, steak, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried up leftover veggies, sometime a couple of slices of low carb toast and vegimite if I still feel hungry.

Dont think i eat any carbs most days on carnivore unless it hiding somewhere :) I tend to eat 3 times a day and dont feel hungry, its 4 eggs in the morning then another 2 meals later on and thats it :) When i was testing 2 hrs after a meal anything more than 6 grams of carbs would raise my bloods by 2.5 which was 1 riveta so i just moved onto meat full time

When i was in travelodge yesterday i had a unlimited breakfast so i just filled up on scrambled egg, bacon and sausages with a black coffee, kept me going for most of the day :)

Sounds reasonable to me.:)

I was lucky as I went low carb when first diagnosed (T2), which seems to help getting into remission sooner.
I started on 100g, dropped to 80-85 a day and no more than 30g in one meal based on my meter readings. After I'd been in remission for a while I went up to 100g, then up to 120g some days.
I still test once a week to make sure my body copes with this much.
It does depend on the meter readings, as that is the only way to know how many carbs your body can cope with.

Having been feeling rather dismal recently, I have found that it helps to make some comfort food by mashing some cooked swede with leftover green veges, adding in a couple of eggs and then cooking the result after doing some bacon until it is browned - I do the bottom on the stove and the top under the grill.
I put mushrooms in another pan and a perforated steamer pan on top to keep the bacon warm.
I think it has contributed to my feeling better.

My goal is less than 30g. When I go over I see it in my morning reading

It's very personal and can depend on a lot on the person, their levels of activity and all sorts of things. Some days I will have more reaction than others, it is a bit random

I'm on anything between 100 to 150 a day, probably average 125 or thereabouts and that works okay for me
