That's great, keep it up. You will soon be an expert in food, carbs and how they affect you! Trick is to stay positive as sometimes it can be frustating

Ask to attend a dafne course which will help to teach you about carbs and insulin etc.

Was 16 when i was diagnosed.. It was Christmas time which then turned into good Friday that year...
Am 21 now so guess am a 5year old survivor of type 1 n still counting...
