Introduce Yourself: Answer Some Personal Questions

I looked into cinnamon,but it said the Chinese cinnamon would be dangerous to the liver if too much was taken, or for a long time, the true cinnamon doesn't effect the blood sugars though :(

My name is Kevin. Newly diagnosed type 1 I downloaded the app and cant see where to post, this seems to be the hardest forum I have found for posting in I dont think it is very user friendly - or is it that my head is still mush?

Welcome Kevin, im pretty new here too. this is as good a place as any to start :) i did find it a bit confusing to start with as there are so many threads but you get more familiar with them in time. Maybe the app is more difficult, i dont know as i use the site on my laptop. Theres loads of help here if you can work your way through, and lots of lovely people willing to support you.

hi my name is Jill, i was told i'm diabetic 4months ago, i've been looking at this site but didn't want to talk about it.
I've been lucky to have a nurse who is very helpful and well informed my first bloods were 12.? after 3 months 8.4 i did my own a couple of weeks ago 5.4, i've been doing low carb high fat.

i like swimming and photography, my husband has been wonderful and is eating as i am, we have a cat who is about 16 so doesn't do much.

i struggle when i think i have it worked out and then read some thing that trows me, i don't like having to give it so much thought.

i see the nurse again in August, i hope i can stay of meds as i have so far, i've lost one and a half stone, now i seem a bit stuck, i lots more to get off.
