Trying to find food for my 96 year old T2 dad. Need to keep the carbs down but he loves/loved pasta. He also needs enough protein because he much prefers low carb keto cakes to cheese, which he used to eat all day.

I'm naively thinking there should be some lowish carb high protein fake pasta out there, but my googling is failing. Suggestions anyone? (And I love spaghetti courgetti but I'm not sure my dad does and realistically it's too hard for my brother who works full time as well as cooking for my dad.)

Suggestions anyone?

(Of course, maybe we should just put him on a flozin and let him have all the carbs he likes, but he struggles to drink enough fluids as it is.)

I’ve used these in the past @EllieM - you can buy it on Amazon - it’s extremely filling so you don’t need a lot, I vaguely remember my portion working out at about 11g carb. Some have more carbs than others

I get this from Aldi
The foodie market organic edamame & mung bean fettuccine
25.5 G protein per portion
3G of carbs per 100g
Sorry picture of the box won’t upload

I get low carb pasta from here:
