I do tend to take my 'Corporation Pop' straight, albeit chilled, but occasionally when I feel like kicking the boat out I give it a quick squirt of Jif Lemon Juice. I also put a couple of squirts in ice cubes which are great to use in my iced tea.

Also exhaustion, fatigue.lethargy don't fit with this stage of your diet, although could be explained if you are ill.At some stage your weight will bottom out,any chance you have used up available fat reserves?
Same here.tree-peony said:glad to hear you're feeling better

I had a similar thing yesterday but mine ended up unsettling me. I had done my +2 at 9:00am and recorded 5.2 and then went on a leisurely plant shopping expidition. At 11:00am I bought a mug of coffee to warm me up, hardly any milk and no sugar. Got home and did my normal pre-lunch reading at 12:30pm and it was 6.5 <gulp> dismissed that and retested and it was 6.6. +2, after a couple of slices of home cooked chicken, it was down to 4.9. I give up!!!
catza said:I know my blip yesterday was caffeine. Never thought at the time that it would have such a bad effect on my figures. I changed to decaf tea and coffee a long time ago on the advice of my GP as I drank so much of the stuff that I was going hyper and having problems winding down and sleeping. Never thought it would impact on my diabetes so my regular testing has reinforced my need to stay away from the 'hard stuff'.
