5.5 this morning :joyful: No sweet puddings or ice cream yesterday only dark chocolate 2 squares . I am only reducing sugary and sweet puddings / sweets and chocolate , with the exception of dark chocolate .

I seem to have lost all control of my numbers. They are high and stay so for hours on end ex 155 mg/dl can drift down to 145 after ca 10 hours. I escaped the transition from prediabetic to presumably diabetic for almost 6 years. Hope I see a competent Dr on Tuesday, but am not holding my breath.

Mine went up this morning 7.8 and I was careful yesterday , except for 3 squares of chocolate (dark)

Oh dear! How late did you eat? Did you test after dinner? I usually get my highest readings later in the day, despite almost banishing carbs from my dinner and trying to eat it before 6pm.

Why do you say that 95 is disappointing? I'd be happy with that...I am rarely below 100.

much water has passed under the bridge since them . My normal FBG was then around 83 mg/dl. yesterday it was 126 mg/dl with peaks tested after meals of ca 160 mg/dl and much time on readings of 140- 150 mg/dl. Today I will see a Gp and request a prescription for metformin. Maybe I can return the situation to something approaching normal . Seems that Decapepyl has a side effect called diabetes , I was injected with this stuff shortly before the "outbreak" There seems to be a connection .

As this mornings reading is 5.8 I have put it down to a late reaction from the weekend and maybe ate too late , I need to keep a diary , after meal tests got scrapped because I never keep the time right ( need an alarm clock ) lol.

113 mg/dl or about 6.3 m moles/liter.

Not a good meeting with the GP yesterday, went on about how a HbA1c of 7 is just fine, that BG values of 160 are also perfectly acceptable for someone like me with ischemic heart disease . I could not believe my ears, he just sounded like recording from the ADA. Gave me a list of blood tests and a referral to an Endo that specialises in diabetes.
I shall continue my efforts to get metformin through another doc.

very early this morning 117 mg/dl or 6.5 m moles liter. Thats 6 hours after my very first Metformin pill [850 mg ] its my dosage for the next 29 days, then results will be reviewed.
