Hi Pumpers
Just curious to know what we all have our target BG set in our pump

Mine is as follows
12am - 3am 5.6 ( correct above 6.0 )
3am - 8pm 5.5 ( correct above 5.6 )
8pm - 12am 5.6 ( correct above 5.9 )

:)

Mine are:

0.00-18.00 - 5.5-6
18.00-24.00 - 6-6.5

Hasn’t changed since it was set up with the DSN but going to change it now as I tend to run higher at night :)

My 6 year old daughter just started pumping on Tuesday...exciting times! Our target is set to 5+/- 0.5 at all times.

My range js 5-7 at all times but have different basal rates for different times. Correct afer 5 which is a bit edgy at times!

Mine is 5.5 +/-0.5 at all time ... at the moment
I did turn it down to 5.0+/-0.5 but hypoed too often
I have also tried 6.0 +/-0.5 at night but realised my night time hypos were exercise related so turned down my temp basal on exercise days instead.

Reading this, I will now reduce the range and see what happens.

7 across all rates, I run six rates, but I'm massively insulin resistant so I tend not to phaff with it and run temp basals after my training.

Mine is 6.3 daytime and 6.9 during night.
I am often being told my Hba is too low at 45.and to raise it. Don't know why as I am not hypo too much (maybe 2/week).

it is funny ( strange ) how our consultants must vary as well -- mine is thrilled that my HbA1c's are consistently between 44-46 for the last nearly 3 years ( they were lower pre- pumping )

5.6-5.6
This may change as I have only been on the pump for 2 days.

Mine's 5.5 - 6.1 throughout the day and 6.3 - 6.7 during the night

Mine's 5.5 - 6.1 throughout the day and 6.3 - 6.7 during the night. Ha1c came in at 46 consultant happy but GP wants me to raise Ha1c by increasing my background insulin so as to prevent hypos??? Even though only may have the odd hypo at weekend?! Don't know what planet he’s on that hypos are reduced by increasing basal insulin lol... Or am I loosing the plot???

5.5 ± 0.5 for me. A1c 52-54 consultant prefers it at 55, i prefer 48-50 but keep getting told they worry about hypo awareness (needlessly) and driving, so I had to increase target from 5.2 ± 0.2 to keep docs happyh
