why can't everyone get on........
My 6 year old daughter just started pumping on Tuesday...exciting times! Our target is set to 5+/- 0.5 at all times.
it is funny ( strange ) how our consultants must vary as well -- mine is thrilled that my HbA1c's are consistently between 44-46 for the last nearly 3 years ( they were lower pre- pumping )Mine is 6.3 daytime and 6.9 during night.
I am often being told my Hba is too low at 45.and to raise it. Don't know why as I am not hypo too much (maybe 2/week).
5.6-5.6
This may change as I have only been on the pump for 2 days.
Mine's 5.5 - 6.1 throughout the day and 6.3 - 6.7 during the night. Ha1c came in at 46 consultant happy but GP wants me to raise Ha1c by increasing my background insulin so as to prevent hypos??? Even though only may have the odd hypo at weekend?! Don't know what planet he’s on that hypos are reduced by increasing basal insulin lol... Or am I loosing the plot???Mine is 6.3 daytime and 6.9 during night.
