A fish curry on its own is enough, why do you need to bulk up the meal?
Let your family eat the rice or whatever your having. Just have more fish or curry. I suspect you want to eat more than you actually need, have a small plate full, then have more later! There is alternatives to rice, the low carb forum is full of them. Your family might not notice!
I know it's really hard, but if you keep at it, at times I hardly eat anything all day, just enough to keep me going!
For example, I have in the past cooked low carb sausage, and ate one every couple of hours, or just a low carb burger, you can make these yourself. From good fatty mince. Rissoles with herbs, meatballs, I even have black pudding with my gammon and eggs, small omelettes with any meat or mushrooms, or good veg.
Have a salad, I have salad every day, no cooking! Just change the meat, you can make one up yourself, or buy one from the supermarket for around £1.
Have a slice of Bergen bread with butter and meat and salad, tomatoes, I have had a tomato, just to keep me going as a wee snack between snacks.
It sounds like I'm obsessed with snacking, I'm not. I just use the options and because it's little and often, I don't count it as snacking!
