i like the artificule trees and prefer the silver ones, there dont make any mess, but we dont have a xmas tree now, or any decorations at all.
Oh if you don't mind me asking can I ask why this is,you can tell me to shove off if it's to personal.

Keep it watered it will last well into the new year.
What about the central heating or does it not work like that just plenty of water.

As long as you don't place them next to any radiators they'll be fine.

Thats very nice Snowy.im at my daughters and we have put hers up today.
Im going to have to find out how to put photos on here.
Long drive home tomorrow from Stockton on Tees to Rochester Kent .

You are all in advance of me. I don't decorate until the 15th. I've still got my pre-Christmas cleaning to do!

We've always had a real one. They are easy to keep until New Year if you cut an inch off the trunk and stand in a deep bucket of water outside for a day or two, then make sure when you bring it indoors it is away from radiators and watered at the bottom every day. We then put ours out in the garden for at least a month for the birds to play on. Then we cut the trunk off and use the small logs as beastie homes for the insects. The Council collects the branches eventually and they are shredded and re-cycled for compost.

My husband who is a retired vicar dosent like the tree up until Christmas eve as its Advent up to then and Christmas dosent start until Christmas eve.
Our four children used to realy complain,so did I because we didnt realy have time on Christmas eve.so did it acouple of days before.
But its going up early this year as we are going away to Abu Dhabi for new year and we will hardly see it we wait until Christmas eve.
I have got to say that Christmas seems to end on Christmas day ,in this country and realy its only just starting
Spain and Italy celebrate for over two weeks after.
We do tend to be ruled retail media.
