So I went to doctors today and you all was correct I have diabetes type 2 and they have told me to go on a diet and take metformine.
They told me go to go for an eye test which I have booked for 2 weeks time.
They would not give me a prickly thing because I am type 2
They told me I got to exercise a whole 2 hours a week and stop eating saturated fats, so I said if it’s nice I can’t eat it he said basically yes.
So no fast foods
I had to book in to see a diabetic nurse to discus diabetes management but they fully booked got to ring back mid next week for an appointment.
Also they have to take more blood from me (I not have none left soon) to retest my hb1ac even though gp and the diabetes nurse say I have it.
Thanks for all the support
**********new update************
For 2 months been having problems with diarrhoea, I mean I am trained but I still did it in my pants.
Anyway the nurse at the GP was fantastic she sent me for loads of blood tests which all came back fine apart from the ferritin levels and A1c which is 92.
The nurse also sent me for CT scan which waiting for results for.
The tablets the nurse put me on mertformin and glicazide made me poo really bad too.
So the nurse sent me to the diabetes specialist nurse, I am now under these and they are fantastic.
Put me on insulin right away, sending me for tests to see what type of diabetes I have.
They also installed a libre 2 on me which I have been putting what I been eating on.
Still an along way to go but fingers crossed will be sorted soon.
BTW I completely cut out my sugar drinks, diet probably isn’t great though but working on that slowly.
Thank you all for the great advice given here and how nice everyone is.
Also had to let DVLA know I am on insulin, they have put me on a 3 year medical review licence.
Also when I am with the DSN they have put me forward for GGT cholesterol and triglycerides blood test as well.
