Sporty Forty.e t

So today I was going to be lazy and not do anything and then @Bebo321 made me laugh 'cos I'm using a virtual BG meter at the moment 'cos my actual one has been tidied away for me and I walked for 40 minutes to bring my virtual BG down to 7.6:)

Has it eloped with Pedro?

No, Pedro and I have been reunited since yesterday! He seems to have forgotten all about me and our disagreements, so I will have to reset his memory again. If only humans were that straightforward. The last time I had my BG meter was Friday morning after my gentle walk but before the plank etc and next lot of exercise.

So I know I left it all out on the coffee table ready to use again. I also know that husband keeps tidying up after me (gggrrrrrrrrrr:spitoutdummy: :grumpy:) and nothing is ever left where I leave it. Friday was dustbin day too.

So I am guessing my BG's at the moment (tomorrow's fasting will be 7.9) and then I will buy a new meter when I can be bothered. I am not going to tear the house apart looking. it might turn up. it might not.:arghh:

40 minutes of aquafit today. Wasn't able to carry on for the whole hour, so did some gentle swimming after for 15 mins.

Home for a snooze to recover.

Feeling pretty knackered! I did a 2 and a half hour ride today. I wasn't on form, and felt surprisingly lacklustre. It was only when I got home I remembered that yesterday I was getting the beginnings of a cold. Suffice to say, I am now thoroughly bunged up with a banging headache!
Never mind - I shall reflect on having done a chunky mileage and feel better!:angelic::inpain::joyful:
I haven't had a cold for 3 years. Now I have one, and I know how you are feeling :-(. Get well soon.

Only a gentle 30 minute walk today, I seem to have pulled a muscle at the bottom of my back so no rowing or planking. It's easiest when I'm standing up so I should just finish the ironing ...

Yes....ironing is very good for back muscles....as long as you have the board at the right height for you.....honestly!

Oh, no,
Another invalid. Jamrox will be on our case soon.
Hope you soon feel better.

Sorry to hear about your injury. I've noticed you talk about the plank a lot so I looked it up. It looks to be a good exercise but the advice I read said not to attempt if there's a history of lower back problems. Drat! I have! Now, reading about your lower back injury, I understand why.

Hope your back is soon better. :-)

Forgot to post my 47 minute brisk walk yesterday.

Won't be walking tonight ...

I decided to kick off my trousers this evening and stubbed my toe on the corner of the open bedroom door! Wearing footwear now a bit uncomfortable. No broken skin but think I've bruised a couple of smaller toes.

Also, I seem to be turning into a wuss! Bad cold. Going to bed lol!

Might have been the planking hon. I managed 33seconds in the end, and I thought better of it becauseI could feel my back groaning. I think I'll have to build up slowly!
