Have a good break zand. Try not to bring too much ironing back.Ok so I doubt if I will get any exercise in today...except ironing. I'll be back on Saturday and I hope I'll be walking lots while I'm away.

Woke up with sore neck. Tempted to turn over and stay in bed, but as bed was so uncomfortable went off for a pool workout. 50 mins of intense aquafit. Then when everyone else got out of the pool I remained swimming gently, and imagining I was in the Carribean. That lasted 20 mins until the pool staff started to get the floats and slides and stuff out and marauding hoards of kids appeared. Time for a sharp exit. Neck still sore too, but at least I gave my heart a good work out, and hopefully worked some calories off.
Cheering myself up drinking green tea with peppermint. I know how to live it up!
1 and 1/2 hrs on the wall of doom - more after supper lugging water round. Brisk walk round town doing jobs and 5 mins on bike so far- hope to get some more of that in later.
Go on @Jamrox. A new challenge, learn to swim. You ve been busy. Hope you aren't as sore tonight
Wish I could swim
Surely wall of doom work counts as exercise? Sounds like torture!1 and 1/2 hrs on the wall of doom - more after supper lugging water round. Brisk walk round town doing jobs and 5 mins on bike so far- hope to get some more of that in later.
Sounds like the same sort of surgery that despite knowing I was away for two weeks rang landline on day 2 of holiday and left voicemail to say senior doc was concerned about junior doc findings so needed to see me asap. On phoning (i had picked up remote message) receptionist knew nothing. If I had been anxious type that would have given me something to fret about for 12 days.I need all the exercise I can get - and it might help burn the anxiety off- What sensible GP practice rings you at 6.50 and leaves a message that you need to speak to your GP about your metformin regime then is closed when you try and ring back! So that's me up early to get on the phone back list for tomorrow.

You don't need to swim for aquafit though. Stand in shallow end of pool. Much easier to exercise than on land, especially if you need to lose weight (sorry Jamrox, don't think you do). Water helps to avoid impact discomfort you get in some sports, so protects joints.

Thanks @Bebo321I have been very good the last few days and have either been running or walking up and down hills.
@Pipp how did the visit to your health trainer go? Apologies if I've missed you talking about that.
Going back to your request for suggestions for different or new forms of exercise, my husband reminded me that we actually know someone who is a physical trainer who specialises in exercise programs for people with injuries or disabilities. Although she's based around Cardiff I know she travels up and down the country (she's NHS). Anyway, let me know if you would like some input and I can put you in touch.
Yes, I am thinking belly fat is the last to go.Hi mm weight loss is a funny one. I've lost 2 stone recently , took a while but I got there. BMI is 24.4 but my waist is 36inches. I read yesterday that I need to be 34.5 inches around the waist so I am working on that . Its not easy. I ve always had a belly even when I was young and weighed 9 stone.
