Sporty Forty.e t

A busy day. Needed milk, so off to supermarket, literally sprinted round huge place, held trolley and dashed. Much progress from my early trolley strolling in past weeks, but very breathless for a good while after my 4 minute dash.
Home to vigorous vacuum cleaning really worked up a sweat, 15 minutes.
Swimming pool 50 mins aquafit and 15 mins swimming. I worked very hard, and feel better for it especially as I now seem to have got the need for eating rubbishy carbs that stemmed from testing limits a few weeks ago.
Wish I could hit my own like button here, because I am well pleased with myself. Even though I am tired, and exercise takes up so much time lots of other stuff gets left.

LIKE LIKE LIKE Sounds like you ve had a busy day:)

Tired tonight after walking around my work for over 4 hours doing yet more inspections. Sitting here trying to muster energy to move.

Felt guilty. See what you lot do to me lol
35 minutes on exercise bike and 5 minutes playing with my dumb bells...Pipp no comments lol

Who? Me?
Nope, I am too wiped out from yesterday to muster energy.
Think I am sickening for something as I have very sore throat, ear ache and pounding head.
Have to take a sickie today. Sorry.

20 minutes on bike, 5 mins toning exercises and 15 mins walking ( largely because M r Ethyl was determined that his way to the box office of venue was the right way!)

Hope you re feeling better today. We will all have sick days , don't have to apologise for that. ;)

@Pipp no need to apologise, the exercises aren't obligatory you know! You do much more than many of us, hope you're feeling better today :)

[ live in a cul de . Yesterday I was woken early by a baby crying , not sure who s baby.
This morning the dog up the street woke me up early so got up at 6.15 and went for my walk.

...hope you manage to get through @cold ethyl .. same system here, phone constantly on redial until you actually get through hoping all the appointments haven't gone..

...lovely long walk last night, nice and cool, then a bit of a blast with the bodyblade and twistboard..

@Jamrox nice start to the day we don't have many of them round this way emerging from the sea unfortunately...o_O

correction....any of them...
We don't in my neck of the woods either. Probably because there is no sea unless we travel to the coast! Lol! :D

Well I'm at my mums and I thought that I'd have plenty of time but we have been so busy that I haven't had much of a chance. I've walked twice since I've been here. :(Have stuck to LCHF but Had 4 glasses of wine, a small handful of crisps and a small piece of cake and have put on 4lbs! :(:(:(

...I put on 2lb when I weighed myself last week......its just keeping steady at the moment but only with a struggle after a weekend away.....wine's like an appetiser to me, after a few glasses I'm emptying the larder and fridge...

@Pipp hope you feel better soon. We all need an off day now and then. It's our body's way of saying " take a break."

Going to try and get my 40 mins in today as junior now home again occupying the pit of doom which is where bike is. Will struggle tomorrow as have to be in Newcastle for 2 so mad dash round in morning, then mad dash back afterwards- was staying at parents but couldn't face tow nights there so going back through on Saturday for uni reunion and staying Saturday night. They have a small bungalow and are very set in their routines so it is like treading on eggshells being there. Mum also suffers from anxiety like me so I can sort of appreciate it, but it sends my anxiety sky high trying to second guess everyone's moods.

Todqy I've been a saint lol
40+minutes walk early this morning , 40+ at lunchtime because it's a lovely day. Then I had my retinopathy screening at 4.45 in my local opticians, just 10 minutes from my home. I went after work , parked the car and went in. I totally forgot about the drops and that I couldn't drive after it, so 10 minute walk home . Total 90 +minutes walk and my car is parked in our local library carpark.
The test was fine, eyes ok and I've decided to try contact lenses .

Funny, when I had my retinopathy check (independently, still waiting for the 'official' one) I didn't get any drops. She just looked closely at the back of my eyeballs.

Anyway, I've been trying to give my liver a lesson today after it's bad behaviour overnight, so I've done a minute of trainer burpees, two 10 minute rowing sessions and a 40 minute walk. And I mowed the lawn.

Thank you all for your good wishes. Guess not being well Served me right for being a big head the other day. Feel much better, so some short walks today, will be finishing the day with half an hour or so Pilates. Reassess tomorrow, but maybe leave the pool until after the weekend, and when I do go try not to overdo it, because too much only sets me back.

I stupidly walked home from mine! Huge mistake! No depth perception! Glad it went well!

.....had a half hour walk today at lunch as so hot, but just going for another along the front before it gets dark, will be dodging the seagulls and dogs in a few minutes, must keep on track or I won't hit forty....

Yes take it easy Pipp, you'll only prolong whatever it is otherwise... been round to my son's and have just been trying to persuade him not to go back to work tomorrow as he's been off sick the last two days and he hadn't taken a day off in over ten years...told him he should stay home tomorrow but he's a workaholic and what son listens to their mum whatever age...

So 21 mins cycling, 15 mins walking then 10 minutes stretching and toning and generally mucking about to burn adrenalin off from panic attack.

Hope he does take notice of his ma. What I hated about work sickies was that you could go years without being off, and then if you were unfortunate enough to have two short sick periods within six months you were on a warning. Glad I am out of the rat race.
