Type 1 Still feel I need more insulin

Hi everyone I have had a ear infection last week, and felt a bit stuffy still slightly. I still feel I need a lot more insulin than usual? Is this considered normal, or has my body maybe just changed. I can’t seem to figure it out. Thanks all

As people have already said, we're all different. How long one person needs more insulin will be different to someone else, and yes it could be that your insulin needs have changed for now, at least until the next time they change.

Some infections have left me needing more insulin for many weeks, others not so, but I just take what I need.

Maybe go back to basics and check your basal rates are correct and then check your carb ratios. Stress raises our blood sugar, so won't be helping you.
