Horrible programme, horrible channel!

Hmm I didn't see it so I can't judge.

I never had much respect for the guy though.

I wonder if people would get a response if they emailed Miles Jarvis, Executive Producer of This Morning or Fiona Keenaghan, Controller.

If you click on their profiles you will get their email address.

Thanks its worh a try. Even if we don't receive satisfactory replies we have registered a protest. If enough people do so we may never know what effect it had but somewhere, someone may have been influenced. Its all we can do.

On the other hand there is always the fear that they migh take it as a positive asin T"his item generated a grea deal of interest and comment. They might even repeat it!

For some reason the media don't see the truth as being of as much interest as the sensationalised version. They've said their piece, got their ratings. They don't care if it's accurate or not.

Don't know why, but I've always expected better from the British media. ( Well, maybe not the tabloids.......)

Meaningless stock response received today which unsurprisingly failed to answer any of the points but offered platitudes - a level of critical analysis/ rigour that sums up ITV in my book

My reply was very similar - in other words they couldn't care less!

I've had the same response from DUK about low carb diet ....

"Your points will be taken into account when next we review our recommendations."

Back in 1973, during the fuel crisis, I wrote to the Prime Minister.

I got exactly the same reply.

Some lucky bast**d must have the copyright to that piece of text and get royalties everytime it is used.

Here's the rub though, The Hydrogen Fuel Initiative was launched in the USA in 2003. Should I write to No. 10 again and say "Told You So!".

At some time in the future, daytime TV will be proudly announcing new understandings about diabetes and it's management. Why sell one story when you can milk one and then sell the other, two for the price of one?

I always get similar replies when I write to MPs. All the secretaries must use the same template.
We punters can't win. If the Mps party is in government he/she doesn't want to ruffle feathers.
If in oppposition , the MP will just make soothing noises and advise you to wait until after the next election etc
