Today’s carbs.

I feel the need to confess to .......half a chicken curry pie on a butty yesterday ( light brown bread of course) it ROCKED ! the rest of the days carbs were boring egg on toast , homemade broth crusty bread and a bottle of pino in the evening with hubby ... the storm made me do it !!

Yesterday, no breakfast as I was on a 4.5
Lunch- crackers with pate, crisps, a piece of cheese, a pear and a Morrisons Splinter bar ( a small snicker type bar
Dinner- Chilli and rice that I defrosted from the freezer, a strawberry Danone yogurt and a cookie biscuit ( and I paid for it too) oh rats :mad:

Did you dip them in a lovely hot beverage? :):):)

It's great if you have a decent sized mug to dunk 4 rich tea biscuits in one go. (Then fish around frantically for the bit that breaks off before it turns to mush in the bottom of the mug.)

Dinner tonight
Mash potato, broccoli, cabbage and slow cooked beef casserole, then a small naughty gf ring doughnut, a real treat :)

Yesterday I had scrambled eggs on I slice of toast(Tesco’s high protein which is fairly low carb) for b/fast, roast beef, Yorkshire pud, leeks and 2 roast spuds for lunch, prawn cocktail for tea and almonds covered in dark chocolate whilst watching TV - not sure about how many carbs were in that lot but it was all tasty!

Afternoon....
Breakfast, yep, you guessed it Crunchy Nut Cornflakes :)
Dinner packed lunch, way too much to list BUT 'twas 165g carbs
AND a nice straight Libre line to boot :)

Yesterday I had a pain au chocolat and a soya hot chocolate, 2 beetroot with vinaigrette, tea was beef casserole, mash, cauliflower and broccoli cheese, broccoli, peas and green beans, followed by apple crumble cake and soya custard.
Today I've had greek yogurt with honey, walnuts and banana, I think we're having sausages for tea :)

I made a beef casserole too :hungry:
Hope it was good :) I used beef skirt and did it in the slow cooker with carrot, leek, celery and a bit of guinness, I'm trying to empty the freezer but there was too much for one meal so some casserole has gone into the freezer, taking up more space than the beef did :hilarious:

A work day hence the standard start.
Granola and yogurt.
A tuna and tomato chutney sarnie on brown.
Banana.
Dinner was diced chicken breast, lentils, beans and vegetables in something akin to a stew.
Think I may have over cooked the Novorapid. :):):). In the past lentils and beans/ pulses have required next to no insulin.
Will see how it goes.;)

3 scrambled eggs for breakfast (0 carbs)

Ham n cheese sandwich for lunch (40g carbs)

Homemade sausage casserole for tea (~10g carbs)

No wonder I’m still peckish!

usual ryvita and cheese for breakfast.
fried egg and bacon on toast (brown ) for dinner.
chicken and black bean sauce and naked noodles for tea and jelly and cream for afters .:hungry:

2 slices high protein toast with home-made jam for b/fast, chicken and bacon, mushrooms in a creamy sauce with mashed potato (although didn’t eat it all!) for lunch and crackers, cheese, apple, tomato and packet of Ringos for tea. Interesting my BS was 5.0 2 hours after lunch.
