Mines come down a lot (for me that is), after some intensive blood measuring and insulin adjustments.
Was 12.7 (12 months ago). 2 months ago it was 9.7.
Now being layed up with Charcot's foot my levels have increased due to inactivity so will need to have another go to bring it down
My HbA1c was 6.5% when I was diagnosed due for a retest soon so hopefully it will be even better.... I was diagnosed with type 1 at 21 thank god I looked after myself!
hello all, im new to the forums, so just wanted to share my latest resoults. was diagnosed with diabetes 1 and a half year ago, and now im 18 years old. when i was diagnosed my HbA1c was 12.8, 3 months later i was on 7.2. my latest resoults during 2012 has been 5.8, 6.0 and 5.9 so i guess i got pretty good controle over it I am taking insulin manually, and i prefer it that way, not sure if it will stay more stabil than it already is if i change to a pump
My last result was 5.9. I seriously wonder if I still need to take the accursed metformin. Will discuss with GP on next visit. He is a diabetic specialist and a great believer in metformin so I do just follow his guidelines. As far as medical staff go, I think that I have been the lucky one
Just had latest result which has improved from 10.6 last june to 7.1 today. I can thank everyone who`s posted on here for all the tips and info for my best result so far
