I am an aunt!
My best friend delivered a perfect little baby girl named Famke at 9 pm!

It wasn't an easy one and took a long time. With a grand total of 8 hours sleep since sunday morning and having had quite a short night on saturday too, I haven't followed much on the forum and don't plan to until I've had a good bit of catching up on sleep.

Picture will follow :)

Congratulations @ANTJE, that's wonderful news :joyful:

Morning everyone. I have been busy gardening, but had a hypo, so corrected that, need to change as I am going out to lunch with my friend, to a new place in town, it's Vegan and Gluten free, so best get going.
Happy Wednesday guys :)

Woke at 14 corrected violently caught the train on a 3.3 treated, now on a 6.3. Might be a rollercoaster day.

Hmmmmm......I had tea/supper, around 170g carbs. I think I may have got my insulin spot on with that
I had vegan meatballs and a huge bowl of roasted veg drizzled with tahini. Was about 18g carbs. Was so nice I’m having it again tonight!

Hello friends, I haven't been around much because I am quite tired. I bought a vegan work friend the walls vegan sausage roll and nomo chocolates and she was absolutely delighted. Walls sausage roll is, in my opinion better than the fry's vegan sausage roll because of the pastry. Diabetes has been okay, I happen to be next to a starbucks so on my break I bought their vegan phantom frappuccino - it was black with lime sauce with pineapple and mango juice and a slight hint of coconut. It was a treat because I don't know if it was worth my insulin for it but I got my insulin spot on for it. :) Happy halloween for tomorrow, manager said we can't dress up so my idea of going in as the grudge was thrown out the window.

WOW....thats more cured than I thought I was :joyful::joyful:

Hi,

Spent last night salting & preserving some meats... Got covered in salt myself in the process..
Couldn't be bothered to shower prior to bed...

When I woke this morning?

... I was cured! :D;)

A little bit of wee came out then. Spat my tea all over the PC screen. VERY good......how long have you been waiting to get that one in? :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

I pretty much just got in from work, read the banter & thought this gag might just run for miles with some decent numbers... ;)

That's a shame you don't get to dress up as the "Grudge," @MeiChanski ,

If it was thrown out the window? Couldn't you come back as a vampire? You could tell your manager that when you checked yourself in the mirror you were dressed appropriately?
If they are worried about stray hairs? You could attach nails to a hairnet & become Hellraiser.. Health & safety again. Cheese & pinapple chunks will stop any potential impalement on your costume..
Or there's the old classic, "the mummy." Reasonable adjustments in the work place. Tell your boss you just came from "A&E?"

Hope you have some spooky fun regardless of your gaffer's downer on it all... :)

Here she is. Looks pretty much ready to take on the world if you ask me!

She looks ready to fight her corner. Go girl!

Oh my @Antje77 that is one determined female. Fabulous!
Sure is!
Directly from birth to breast and very much determined not to let go of it!
Took 20 minutes before the midwife had the heart to pry her from her mother to do midwife things like weighing and taking a temperature and stuff :)
