Hat tip to Dr Fraser Gibb who has been tweeting some libre results.
He's at the Infirmary in Edinburgh, which was one of the first to give libre on script back in March, so they've got a few months data to play with.
Not every new user has been back for their 6 month checkup and an updated a1c, so it's an incomplete picture, but the numbers seem pretty impressive: 12% getting <48 a1c pre-libre, doubles to 23.5% after.

@smc4761 and @Alison54321 , I've not been following the politics of it too much, but I think some of the obstinate non-funding areas were saying a1c was the gold standard for measuring control, they got that through 6 monthly tests, so they just weren't interested in paying for all the new fancy things which libre provides like time in range, AGP and standard deviation - they weren't convinced that that sort of stuff was clinically important.
Seeing as the bean counters attach so much weight to a1c, it's going to put their gas at a peep if clinicians like Dr Gibb can continue to produce numbers from the real world showing a1cs dropping like a stone within a few months.
Well today has been interesting started off after midnight with an annoying alarm telling me I was at 2.8, jelly babies sorted that out.
Then all morning running up between 8.5 and 11 even doing correction doses and gym did not seem to bring in down.
So sat here all afternoon watching some great anime on Netflix then Ghostbusters, the remake of 2016 which was great.
And most of the afternoon the alarms have gone off, a couple of times, it's set for 3.9. Not done owt about it, just left and only dipped to low 3.
xDrip has been a bit of a Tommy Tanker, was going to uninstall/reinstall but it has now sorted itself out after a recalibrate.

Me neither, still in my PJsMe three.
Hasn’t helped that I have not made it off the sofa today
It's funny as when I started this I worked for a guy, he did 'tops' I did bottoms and that's what we did, I'm not that fond of heights myself, but after 4 years his drinking was a problem, I'd brought him a fair amount of work to add to his round so we did a deal, I kept the area where I live and he kept some of mine, it just meant growing a pair and doing the tops if I wanted to carry on earning a living, I've done ok, fallen twice (one hypo one misjudgement and got stuck on a first floor pitched roof and had to ring a mate to come hold my laddersRespect, I have no idea how you can go up and down ladders all day. Anymore than about 8 steps up and I just about freeze.
looks like you have a few big decisions to take, just take your time and do what you think is right for your kid and yourself
I smiled at that as I honestly don't know, going back into engineering was always the plan but I'm older now and hardly a catch for an employer, tho I do a little 'jobbing' work in my shed as I've some machines in there although currently the council won't let me run a business from homeWhat would you like to do instead?
Sounds like you are at a crossroads @kev-w. Which can be both daunting and exciting. You will know what feels right in the end and I wish you much luck. Oh and filling a skip is very satisfying.
@Mel dCP What about the painting and sanding as a reason for lows and need for less insulin ?? And why does not your Ruler of the Multiverses status not exempt you from the hypos and hypers ?Me neither, still in my PJs
Been bouncing off the floor all day, so have backed off my pump by 20%, I think it’s the cooler weather...
