I’m finally back in range with a 4.7!

Going to make fish and chips for dinner, cod coated in grated halloumi cheese for a crunchy coating with turnip chips. Reckon it’ll come it around 7g carbs, which makes me quite happy.

Hope you’ve all got nice evenings ahead, smooth BG, and no diabetic surprises xxx

Ooh that fish sounds nice. It would be celeriac chips with it for me. How do you get the cheese to stick to the fish and do to fry or bake. Salivating!

Those T1d days? Been high all day, and injected a few times, but my nose is running so may have a bug.

Morrisons best range salmon cod & prawn fish pie @ 63g carbs veg & 55g worth of rice with 3u extra for tea, I've only had a bowl of porridge all day :/

Lantus pen's in the bin and a new one for tonight...

Egg wash, just like with breadcrumbs.

Cannot remember the last time I had jam or honey! I think just looking at themwould give me problems!

How about a 14g carbs cream tea? I made strawberry jam with chia seeds.

Going to say goodnight now, felt tired all of the evening. 4.0 before curry dinner and before bed, 11.6, oh rats
So sleep well and I hope those slumbering number's behave themselves :)

I had a stroopwaffle. Hubby just back from the Netherlands. Child ate two!

I swung up to 21.2 after tea and I didn't eat rice but had more insulin so am dropping at 9.2 so sitting up till I level out.

Most days I'd take around 10u Humalog in 2 injections, I've had 22u Humalog today in 7 injections, those 4mm needles are a good idea :) but anyway, I changed both insulins and upped my basal by 2u.

Hope it levels off soon.

Quite interesting to me the level of flexibility this affords you. I split Lantus currently and am quite insulin sensitive - my team have mentioned Tresiba before now as a possibility for more stability than Lantus but I'm thinking of asking about Levemir now instead. I've had to make changes to my evening dose a few times up and down because of honeymoon but the change can take a couple of days to take effect.
I've been on Levemir since the start (Aug last year) Just shows how much I've still to learn as I didn't realise that there was any difference between insulins. Is there any comparative information on them anywhere? Nearly choked about Novosluggish
