Type 1'stars R Us

I always feel sorry for window cleaners because if they don't clean your windows they don't get paid.
Obvious I know but heavy rain is as dangerous as snow and hot weather brings its own trouble as you mentioned.
One of ours is a type 1 funnily enough and I do make the 3 of them a brew if I'm in.

Good luck

Tony

Top man for making your window cleaners brews :D and a big up to your diabetic one :D I am not alone :p

Meh, 2.6 on waking and wobbling :( and I'm blaming it on the heat from yesterday, busy day as I've got mums vicar this aft coming to discuss 'the order of the service' for her funeral next Tuesday (a 3 week backlog at the crem) so maybe some thunder bolts and lightening.

Going to be an odd afternoon as I'm not particularly religious (more Rastafarian than anything else :p ) so I'm a little nervous but my eldest's coming to chaperone me...

Enjoy the sun and stay hydrated.

UGH!!!! Not an easy thing to do, had to help my dad out on things like that when my mum died a couple of years ago.

Wake up 7.5 nice, going out the door 4.8 HMMMM!!!! problem solved with cocholate cake as I walk out the door. Now time for a coffee before I sit here all day wondering why things are running so slow.

Morning my lovelies, hope you're all keeping well today? Steady night here in the fours, woke slightly low but sorted that with a couple of dextrose tabs. Ketone fuelled brain doesn't seem to panic so much in a hypo so it feels easier to just take what I need to do the job and not feel the need to eat the kitchen...

Got a spot of silversmithing on the agenda today, not looking forward to sitting in a shed with a blowtorch in this heat, so will probably do it tonight when it's cooled down a little. The joys of self employment, eh?

Hope all goes well with the Vicar, @kev-w - he'll know how to put you at ease as he'll be very used to dealing with bereaved people who aren't churchgoers. My dad is a Vicar, he sees it all the time, he's used to dealing with his atheist daughter :D I'll be thinking of you this afternoon x

Tough time, Kev. Was your mum very religious? Hope you find a way to celebrate her, and make the service a reflection of what she meant to you all.

I’ve got a new frio - the old one was getting thin and a bit manky. The new one’s a lovely green colour and sooooo good. Levemir now comes to bed too (no, don’t be daft, it stays above the covers); I don’t have to stagger down to the fridge when the morning alarm goes off for the Levemir shot. Best thing since sliced carb.

Morning all, so yesterdays apparent 6-8 all day went t!ts up in the evening, I blame the wife for cooking macaroni cheese, I was just under 4 before eating so changed my routine for a pasta dish. 11.6 before bed, 11.8 this morning.

stay safe in the sun!

Good morning everyone. had a bit of an adventurous night in blood sugar land, with a low of 4.2, and a high of 8.9, but woke at .6.6, so I'm reasonably happy with that. Though putting things in perspective, I'm sure my blood sugar has done far stranger things during the night, I just never had a freestyle libre, to know about it. I like the daily patterns graph, as I can see over the time I've been using it, how the peaks and troughs have reduced.

I think I'll upload my data to libreview today, and see how the deviation from, I think it's the median, not the mean, looks. Though it's probably the mean deviation from the median, that gets calculated. I once had a brief flirtation with statistics, but we didn't really get on.

Not a great start as had been going low since around 2am and woke at 3.2 at 6am, as it was too early to start doing carb calculations had a mega feast breakfast and combined with a liver dump bounced up to 13.8, and now coming down again - makes for an interesting graph though o_O

Best wishes for today @kev-w

Thanks y'all, I'm ok with it now, been a bit stressful organising the funeral, mum's made the solicitors executors & trustees and left me her estate, I struggled at first to get an appointment with her solicitor as I needed them to raise an executors cheque book to pay the funeral deposit, there were no appointments till the 5th of July so I went and sat in their reception and saw someone in 20 minutes :p and got an appointment on the Friday, she was quite religious, same church for 70 years, nearest I got was dropping her off and collecting her as I'd go over to our towns big pool for a swim whilst waiting :)

Sugars bouncing a bit today, the hypo came back after I'd cycled for young child to get her to school, so I'm back in the mid 4's now and the breakfast bolus should have peaked so I should see a spike upwards soon though I thought that at 07 30 :banghead:
