I'll raise you
Does that come under the mantle of "Northern Soul"?
After seeing the You Tube music posts on here guess where I am going tomorrow when back in work?

I'll raise you
Morning y'all, I woke hypo but I'm ok, treated it and then had my bolus +.5u then have waited till I dropped back to 5 before eating my 'new' porridge which is jumbo oats at 56g carbs per 100g![]()
Sunday science of porridge.
@Robinredbreast sorry but am chuckling at the duvet changeare you like me who ends up stood inside it fighting with it or one of those who can put the new duvet cover on with just a flick?
Good music Motown too
I had my little uns night bumped to tonight so I'm going to start emptying mums house this morning (I'll dig all my early 80s Blondie posters out), the rabbits running round whilst his run dries and I've him to catch yet, which is always fun....
@Fairygodmother ...can you blow it my way please so that I don't have to go out and water my garden....It’s raining again! Whoopie! That’s the second time after a few weeks’ dry. Time to get out there and dance in it.

Keep your clothes on
Why? High hedges, soap, shampoo. Too late now tho so neighbours won’t be running for the hills in horror after all.
Morning all, @Robinredbreast I just adore “Lost on You” since I saw it played live on Jools Holland a while ago. I’m a rabid Alarm fanTheir new single “Beautiful” is all about smiling on the outside when you’re struggling inside, especially with an invisible illness, in this case leukaemia. Works for me, too.
Not been around other than a mild lurk for a few days, sugars been alrightish but not brilliant. Top end of range or just over, if I could knock it all down by 1mmol I’d be happy enough.
Have a lovely Sunday, friends. We’ll be attempting to replace our knackered living room light fittings with ones that look like a Death Star![]()

Hi, guys, for those of you fighting the good fight to get ccgs to fund libre, thought you might be interested in the study at this link:
https://www.easd.org/myeasd/home.ht...sessment-8a6a88d2-bfdc-43e2-80ec-6474b8018cbc
NHS Lothian started funding libre in February and they used the opportunity to ask previous self-funders (I was one of them) who attended the education sessions to fill in a questionnaire.
They then went off and queried their computer systems to figure out changes in a1c in longer term users.
The results were pretty good: median 3 mmol/mol decrease; people achieving target of sub-58 increased from 28.9 % to 42.6%.
These are described as "clinically significant", effects on quality of life should not be underestimated, and greater efforts are required in ensuring equity of access.
It's all too easy for us to knock the NHS and docs, but it's encouraging to see that the team at ECED are on our side.
Bit surprising, though, that of the 2200 invited, only 650 attended.
The ccgs who are holding out on funding are always citing "lack of clinically significant evidence". ECED has a pretty decent reputation, so, hopefully, ccgs might pay attention to this, on top of the recent SHTG Advice Statement:
