Off to bed now, as I've an early start in the morning, goodnight all zzzzzzzz
Morning
I fell asleep quite early last night so I've missed a bunch of forum updates.
I woke up on a slightly high number - 12.6, I'm not surprisedCorrected and proceeded on to have some food. Took the bins out and shoved the laundry into the washing machine. I made myself another nice iced coffee - accidentally spilled the container of soy milk, shhh don't tell my bf. Yesterday the weather really cooked me and my BG, I did have a very bad hypo with no symptoms. But some oreos and coke pushed me before I crashed and fell asleep, so I will be doing some insulin reductions today. I hope everyone has a nice day.

I was being a potato most of yesterday and minding my down business, but diabetes had to stir up some trouble.I too had a hypo, after sitting in the garden eating lunch and reading my book, I reduced the Insulin but still a hypo
TGIF and have good day![]()
@WuTwo did your new avatar eat the old avatar?
Canteen food in general is quite interesting, I remember the time when I was in secondary school and it was mostly packed sandwiches, cups of pasta with beans and cheese with sides of yogurt and fruits. Packed lunch sounds like a good idea tbhMorning all!
I have a working day, but a student-free day, and am mentally placing bets as to how soon we collectively crash the data system as technically my plan is to see how much of that I can get up to date before 3.00 p.m. I gave up 45 minutes after the students left yesterday as did all my immediate colleagues. Methinks the bright idea of everyone having the same non-contact times may have to be rethought as this is happening far more regularly than it used to in the days of it happening across the day.
In the meantime, either my pancreas has woken up for a bit again, or I've just found the holy grail of guesstimation for samosas, crisps and Jaffa Cakes. Which made a fine and splendid party lunch yesterday to make up for the fact it's a no chips Friday for me, at least at lunchtime.... I cannot guarantee the lure of the chip ship can be resisted on the last day of the half-term on the way home especially if I do a long walk.
I even had to have a Jaffa Cake before walking home yesterday as starting walking at that time of day on a 5.2 with a smidgeon of lunchtime IoB still sloshing around would definitely result in hypo before a mile was up!
Also in the meantime, I've just reminded myself I need to pack a lunch. Non-student days canteen food can be....interesting.
Sometimes diabetes is tanking something eh? 4.8 not too shabbyDunno what went wrong last night but was at 8.7 when I did the bedtime reading. Popped in a corrective and read my book in bed. After an hour I thought I'd check my blood - 11.7!! Rinse and repeat - 12.5!! So I pushed in a huge corrective, thought "Oh b...... it" and went to sleep. Woke up on a happy 4.8
Woss that all abaht then?
Your dogo is so floofy ;_;
One glance at your profile pic and I fell in love D:He is just totally gorgeous and has been ever since we got him. He's been the nicest, gentlest dog I've ever had - amazingly good tempered even when faced with Tutti as a bumptious, loud, in-his-face, extremely annoying young pup (and three years later she's only just coming out of that behaviour).
I'm sure your graph looks better than my 10 rounds with Ronda Rousey, she won't stop giving me griefMorning.
Day started interesting with three different BSL Machine all giving completely different readingsand way usual low carb 95 gram brekky
and I wont show the some what interesting xDrip graph that looked like a trip to the Marinas Trench
Anyway had coffee and BSL is back more reasonable figures just waiting for the rise to come but not worried now used to it so can counter act it with out much drama.
Getting odd looks in work, because I am building my systems again (don't ask) while listening to dance music and bopping around in my chair.
