@Marie 2 how did the ablation go? Well, I hope, and that you're feeling the benefit

Just been to the Christmas party for my dog's training class; we're outdoors and it's absolutely freezing. No snow here, but freezing temperatures, but our trainer had arranged all kinds of relays and courses for the dogs, so we all got to move around. Was really grateful for my handwarmers when we had to wait for our turn! Hope all your Christmas parties are warmer than that :D

Thanks @hh1
I had it two days ago. The ablation worked and didn't work. In the test the sciatica got better, but didn't go away completely? The ablation seems to be the same, it's better but not gone. So like today when I woke, it hurt when I turned over so I thought getting out of bed was going to hurt and it didn't. So it helped partially? My doctor said there are other nerves they can aim for if needed. So I will probably try that. I have an appointment after the first so I will talk to him then about it. I'm sure I will know more over the next few days. But at least first thing in the morning it's not excruciating to get out of bed and walk. It always gets better after I am moving around some and most days goes away by afternoon. It definitely makes bending etc easier.

I’ve had an awful virus that seems to have been going around recently, still don’t feel 100% had runny nose, coughing, slight fever, nausea on and off and awful backache that doesn’t seem to want to shift. Negative for Covid but feel absolutely awful on the plus side my blood sugars are doing fine

@Nicole They are saying here that the tests aren't catching all the new strains of Covid now very easily, plus the fact that people test 2 or 3 times before they get a positive result. But there are plenty of various viruses out there and this year they are saying the flu vaccination that is being given here is only at a 20% efficacy rate. They guessed wrong on the prevalent strain they expected this year round. I'm not sure if it's the same there.

I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well and I hope you feel better soon. Hugs.

@Nicola M I've come across a few people lately suffering with viruses, there seems to be a lot of them around this year. Congrats on keeping your bg stable, I really struggle with that on the rare occasions I've had flu, and hope you feel better soon
