Type 2 Life

Thank you @paula.nolan42 and @Alzebra. Yes, I am pleased but also very relieved. I was really worried that it wouldn't have shifted despite me radically changing my diet.
Completely know what you mean there, I was so nervous getting mine done after I started LCHF, because I knew it was the most radical thing I could do for my diabetes short of gastric band surgery! Thankfully it did the trick for me too and I never had to seriously consider surgical options!

You've done amazingly well with your weightloss, I'm not sure I'd have managed what youve achieved.

Thank you to all those who crossed parts of their body for me. I was hoping for an HBA1C reading under 65 (it was 97 at diagnosis 3 months ago) as that would show I was heading in the right direction and that the LCHF diet was doing something.

In fact it was 49, which I am very pleased with. :):)

I'm now off to the gym for a celebratory aerobics class..... i know how to live!

Fantastic stuff well done on all your hard work x

Based on the results you've all had I think I really need to consider a this LCHF approach in a serious way...

@TooManyCrisps DingDong, that's good news as Leslie Phillips might have said.... :)

Been a bit of a low day, 4.8 am, 4.6 before dinner and 5.1 2 hrs after dinner but that was right after a really stiff 40 mins walk, 5.8 after 3 hours.... and now got a blinding headache, which I very nearly never have since diagnosis.... go figure.
The walk was great, just getting dark, not as cold as I expected and then watched part 6 of Follow the money on BBC4.
DUFC losing might not have helped.... sob, sob, sob....
Night all.

Morning folks, got my weigh in at the doctors this morning so I'm going to have a warming cuppa first! It's looking a bit yucky out there

Hi Guys

Birthday today so having a day off diet wise and testing wise. Had a piece of strawberry cheesecake this afternoon at the office my first sweet for over three months and it was very good. Roast Lamb tonight with a couple of roast potatoes and dessert of Apple-crumble and custard
BFG Tomorrow could be interesting
