Thanks interesting readingLook up PIR (Physiological Insulin Resistance) could that be what you're experiencing? Have a read and see threads which discuss this too.
Do you think you're experiencing PIR so therefore your fbg has gone up a little. Thanks interesting reading
It would answer a few things thats happened lately. when started LCHF program did aim for around 120-150grms a day but was still getting high readings so lowered it to 60-70 grms a day suffered a couple of hypos within days but then settled but increased carbs to 90-100 grms per day .Do you think you're experiencing PIR so therefore your fbg has gone up a little.
Posters have suggested increasing their carb very low level to just low level only.
I had a carb day but didnt overeat and the following day resumed my new not so low carb diet. I had a 4 for fbg again.
Give it a try!
Not yet @liam1955. Still waiting.Hi eddie1968 - How you doing? Dare I ask if you have received any results yet?
Liam if you don't think I'm being to personal, what diet do you follow
Why does that work @liam1955?@maureen5752 - Morning. Stress pushes up blood sugars for starters. You and I had the same reading of 6.9 this morning. But, I never had my crackers & cheese at 11.30pm - when I do have supper I get a much lower reading in the morning.
