What did hid GP say when it happened last time @tina_marie ?
He should be visiting his gp on these occasions for help. Hospital will only do emergency help and push you back to gp. If not life threatening, that is!
That's just it he told me he's not been able to get an appointment.

Make it for him tina. My practice allows me to make my partners all the time. If you make it for before or after work he's got no excuse. I know you said he went back to work but how will he get there tomorrow?

@eldergarth every practice has to provide emergency appointments. Call your gp at opening time and they will ask you to either come at a certain time or come immediately and wait.
I've lived all over England and every gp practice I've had over 20yrs have that facility.
Go get it diagnosed so you know how you can help yourself!
These forums are filled with huge experience and someone will guide you, whatever the diagnosis.
The sooner you get diagnosed the more you can settle down and concentrate on your diabetes. Win win situation. Right?

hi @ickihun If cant get a cancelation on Tuesday I will be asking for emergency appointment as got the day of work so can sit there all day if I have to
have started to notice a pattern as to when this problem is going to happen and it seems the hot bath theory wasn't the trigger after all but will confirm this later this evening when have a soak later(just to see if does trigger my legs again) .
I do have a back up for getting to and from work as give a lift to a work colleague and since diagnosis have made sure he is covered on the insurance "just incase "

My Blood Glucose Reading was 6.9 this morning after I administered orally my 1000 mg Metformin and my ADHD medication and anti-hypertensive medications and anti-urinary retention capsule. I feel like an irresponsible jerk because I dozed off for the night last night and forgot to take my ADHD medication and anti-hypercholesterolaemia tablets for last night.
Good morning Johnny, that's a much better reading. Don't worry about dozing off last night, it can happen to anyone. Do you have a routine to help you remember to take your tablets? My brother is epileptic and has severe memory loss, he sets an alarm on his mobile phone to remind him to take his medication.

I was going to ring for him when I was off but didn't want him thinking I was interfering . I know that has never stopped me before.

@amgrundy - I think it's time you had this 'frozen shoulder' looked into by your GP? Maybe some Physiotherapy may be of some benefit, but you should not have to suffer like you have. Keep us updated on here how things progress with it. Hope your Mum and Dad are well. :)

@liam1955 ,
Hi William, I'm feeling fine now thanks, the remains of catarrh but that's better than the sinusitis I usually get. How are you today? I see your results are settling a wee bit, keep up the good work. xx

@ickihun
Thanks for the good bingo wishes, Vicki, unfortunately they didn't work, lol. That was a fab win for your Mum.

Hi everyone, hope it's a good day for you all. Hugs and a 'Feel better soon' for those under the weather.
Karen xx

@doolallylady.
Karen have tried putting a few drops of menthol oil into a large bowl, put a towel over your head and breathe in the vapours/steam from the bowl. This may help the catarrh and unblock your sinuses.:)

I use Olbas Oil, liquid for inhaling and putting drops on clothes and the sticks in every draw and handbag I own, this works at times. I have chronic sinusitis (20 years+) and had an op on them and numerous antibiotics. I'm not supposed to but when they get too bad I take over the counter tablets for it.

@doolallylady.
Karen - I am an Asthmatic and suffer with Sinus and Rhinitis - get on prescription a spray called Mometazone and Antihistamines, can only use the Steroid spray for 2 weeks at a time because it weakens blood vessels up my nose and have nose bleeds. But, I too use the Olbas Oil in a tub full with boiling water and got a mask to attach to inhale the vapour - works wonders for my Head, Sinus and my Chest. I hope it soon clears up for you, as it's not nice at all:)

Hello chooks! Yes, I'm fit as a fiddle, thanks. I've been on the Forums, but ducking and diving through all of them recently (a moving target is harder to hit apparently!). :joyful:
I've also been modelling a stunning line in gardening gloves - it's that time of year - and hobbling around like Quasimodo each evening, thanks to the lovely few days of nice weather enticing me into the garden. Fortunately, though, it's raining again now and extremely parky, so I've reverted back to cuddling the radiators indoors.
How about you?

That's good @debrasue - pleased to hear you are well. :)Yes, what a change to the weather, but it will soon be back to glorious sunshine again in a few days time.? I have been out in the garden but not done any actual gardening, just giving my opinions on things/plants, my partner has been doing the gardening. I've got to 4pm then I have to move and start cooking. Where abouts in the country are you?

I'm in South Gloucestershire (well, if it's good enough for HRH it's good enough for me! Highgrove is about 30 miles away.)
LOVE the idea of giving your opinion while he does all the work - excellent!
I hope you're right about the weather improving; my son and his family are descending on us next weekend and it will be lovely to turf 'em all out into the garden for a while.
:joyful:

@debrasue - Very nice and have you actually seen HRH out and about then? My partner is the expert -( having studied at Horticultural College for 3 years, 6 years ago) asks me for my opinion about plants etc and then does it the way he thought of in the first place!!! I hope it is nice next weekend for you - have all your gardening tools at the ready on the lawn and everyone can talk and garden at the same time. = Many hands make light work.;)
