Type 2 Life

Someone said I could do Standup Comedy last week in the pub (I was teetotal), might do the Edinburgh Festival this year and join the Hoi Poloi lmao :singing:

Oh dear..... I hope it doesn't get caught up in the aftermath of the referendum...........or the football hooliganism.
Did you keep a spare?
The spare is in Bulgaria soaking up the sun and getting White Blood Cells on the cheap, now the pound has crashed I might not have got a bargain lmao :D

Once my thrush has gone I am going to bake the low carb scones as suggested by my Bristol-buddy. I dreamt I had a mountain of them on a plate and was having afternoon lemon ice tea. :)

Even though I am on mixed insulin I have decided to do carb counting and cut down gradually to an acceptable daily limit. It was discussed at my last Diabetes Consultant's meeting that basal/bolus insulin and attending a DAFNE course is probably my next step. I have been doing an online carb counting the course and noting food labelling more closely now. I want better FBGs, less spikes and my HbA1c to get under 45 mmol/mol which is in the normal range. :)

If I'd known, I'd have sent you a batch, which I made and then had to bin because I couldn't leave them alone! Broke my heart..... :sorry:

Does she have a GSoH and an interest in travel and meeting new dogs? :)
They did get on ok but she had difficulty walking to and from the grass. She's going back to Daddy Ted cos although they've a houseful she's only a few steps out the front door to be on the grass (and she won't to what a girl has to on concrete) we've an option of steroids which helps (makes a BIG difference) in some cases and alas very little in others.

Afternoon peeps. FBG 9.2 mmol/l. Wondered why ? Thrush is sort of clearing, still using Canesten HC cream and Nystatin 100,000 IU Oral Suspension for my thrush. My guts have eventually got back to normal and wish no more courses of antibiotics for a long time lol. Picking up but have no real energy today and feel lethargic physically. :)
Chill and watch the football
