Had results today from my Retinal Screening = Everything is Normal. :) Also seeing Liver Specialist on Monday Morning - 're: Liver Biopsy results.
Hope everything goes well with that result to. Ron has his repeat screening end of October.

thanks William rang work earlier got a meeting with management Tuesday when drop cover note in
If you have a union rep. take them with you hun. It's important stage of employment. Nothing to worry about but less intimidating and good to have extra pair of eyes and ears. Give them a copy of your contract incase of termination terms on the table. :) some contract worth a lot of money, to you. ;)

Just crying all the time. Hormonal I think.
I'm not a crier normally. I think I'm going through the change afterall. My bgs have been excellent of late, maybe a little too low occasionally but no hypo symptoms. Although bisoprolol voids them. Still spike on carbs thou.

Ron never had them until after the MRI scan and the meds he was put on .... Gabapentin and clonazepam are not working . Nobody as yet has come up with an answer as to why he is having them.

Do you feel any better today, Vicky? Sending big hugs xx

I'm sure they will @tina_marie . Not too much time to wait now, hopefully. We cannot wait to celebrate with you both! ♡♥♡

I increased my thyroxine back to 200mg til I see gp tuesday. Bg are excellent lately. I hope the extra thyroxine doesnt increase them. Had no palpatations on less thyroxine too. I hope I can get gp to try me on 150mg thyroxine to see if the solution. No crying last night. My mum seems to think it's just grief. I'm hoping a 50mg thyroxine tablet the solution. We'll see.
I'm of the great belief 'I know my body best'. Well on existing known ailments, anyway.

I should be posting this in the scream thread but aaaaargh! My brother Michael told me today he received a letter from the DWP but he didn't understand it. He didn't bring it with him to mums so when we got home he popped over to his to get it. It was the worst news possible, the DWP have dismissed the mandatory reconsideration and stood by the original decision. That means we can either go direct to the Appeal and Tribunal Service and appeal against this new decision or we can give up and try applying for PIP which he is not guaranteed to be eligible for! Either way I have a lot of reading up to do so I can advise him what to do

Sorry to hear Barbara I have put my claim in for PIPS. It is long winded have to call them to start your claim they send out form for you to fill out within 2 weeks then you wait for your assessment appointment then you get told how many points been awarded then get decision of how much benefit you will get and how regular your assessment appointments are to keep your benefit .
For me I'm in my second week and still no forms as yet I can see this new system taking months to get awarded PIPS so can see me having to go to local benefits office to see if any thing else I can claim while I'm waiting for the award if I get retired from work on medical grounds this week .
Hope you get things sorted soon I know it's been a hard slog for you and your brother maybe it's time for some a&%$ kicking to get your points across

Thanks Ron, I appreciate your insight. I just can't believe we've been fighting for this long with nothing to show for it, his ESA was stopped in July and this whole time he's been living on money given to him by me and mum. It's got to the point now where my savings are exhausted and mum is getting close to the point where she can't give him any more. I've downloaded a guide to PIP which will give us the best chance of applying successfully, I think that's the only option we have just now. Best of luck with your application xx
