Type 2 Life

We are all routing for a diagnosis we can understand @eldergarth . My brother-in-law was sent for physio for his knee joints to be told by phsio he has boney growths behind his knees. I wonder if gp knew or whether on a decent physiotherapist could diagnose.
I think I expect too much from my gp. They are expected to know everything.
Thanks Vicky just yet another wall to knock down

Have horrific pain again. I thought things were looking good. Higher bgs but tomorrow and Monday will be text book. Indigestion is back with potato or bread. I'm low on veg til tuesday now. I hate running out.

Another thing Ron has not mentioned is that he is having problems swallowing , seems to be affecting his left side . He only told me last Sunday.

@tina_marie that doesn't sound very good. Please have a ((((((tina_marie & ron))))))

Hi and sorry for the absence. Had surgery and spent 10 days in hospital. On the mend. FBG 5.0 mmol/l. My appetite hasn't been the best for two weeks now. It's dark and chilly here in W. Scotland and reckon winter's not far away.

Have a fab day all
Edward. :)

Sorry to hear that you have been unwell and in hospital Eddie, hope that you are well on the way to recovery? You will be glad to be out of hospital. It's a beautiful Autumnal morning over here a bit further East, you have the perfect weather for "coorie in"

Has he had his vagus nerve checked? Does he have trouble with irratic loose tummy? There is a diabetic complication which affects the stomach nerve. Have a read on google and then bring it up with diabetic nurse. Who is looking after Ron's diabetes again? A specialist or gp?
Complications section might show some light if you post there too@tina_marie and @eldergarth . :)

Good Morning, my dear friends on the www.diabetes.co.uk Type 2 Life forum,

I am posting at home to inform you that I have had a good few days. On Friday I invited my friends Ioanna and Lee around for a roast chicken, roast potatoes, steamed broccoli and steamed cauliflower meal and we all enjoyed it immensely. Yesterday I didn't eat much apart from 3 marmalade sandwiches, though. This morning at 1:00 something I ate 1 lemon curd sandwich and went back to sleep at 2:00 something. Woke up at 6:00 ante meridian and my blood glucose reading was 5.9 millimoles per litre after my prescribed medications. I feel very well today, and at about 8:25 ante meridian I enjoyed 2 salted fried egg sandwiches.

Have a lovely Sunday, my friends, on this chilly, but sunny Sunday morning in October, 2016.

From

Johnny Baker

Ooh, I like that idea! Alex and I are going to Edinburgh Yarn Festival in March, does anyone fancy meeting up with us?

No Vicky hes not had anything checked. He only sees a nurse at the surgery for his diabetes and she's not much help either. I might ask Gp to give him the once over if Ron can get an appointment.
