Type 2 Life

I've just been googling urinary tract infections on NHS Choices, a website internet resource tool, and apparently my sickness since 2 days ago corresponds with the symptoms listed for upper urinary tract infection. I've been having shivers and chills again and the aching in my feet, legs, hands and arms has returned. I'll be so glad to see my GP on Friday and get some treatment for it, if that is what I've got. Only a trained doctor will know and she'll be able to perform a test for it.

Poor Johnny, I hope that you get proper diagnosis and treatment on Friday. Meantime remember to drink lots of water, wrap up warmly and rest. If your symptoms become worse perhaps you might phone the surgery ?

I have had an imflamed toe for a couple of weeks now. The redness and swelling ease, then I go for a run, and it's like a belisha beacon :D I'm in two minds about taking it to the Docs. Other than that trying to put D into the background a bit more.
Off to France yet again next week @PenfoldAPD @debrasue to buy a glass basin. Then back there in Ardres for wine tasting and a several course lunch first w/e of December

France again! Oh @walnut_face I'm jealous! Long way to buy a glass basin :) I could really do with a trip but our plane is in for a respray LOL - enjoy yourself! I've been a good boy recently so in the 5s again, all the red wine is helping me thinks.

Good Morning, my lovely, kind chums,

I woke up this morning after a good night's sleep and took a sachet of Lemsip Cold and Flu for my influenza virus and it's brought down to my temperature and has made me feel less achy and has eradicated the shivers and chills. My dear Church of England friend Matthew bought me the Lemsip Cold and Flu for which I was grateful. Last night, my good, lovely Greek friend Ioanna got her DLA and bought me a £10.00 Gift Card from Sainsbury's and a small lamb doner kebab which cost £15.00 for an early Christmas present. I'm still struggling with sugar in my tea and I shall endeavour to go back to sweeteners in my next cup of tea, if I can. I caught a blister on the inside of my cheek from drinking a scalding hot Lemsip Cold and Flu the other night instead of sipping it I drank it too quick and when I was chewing my doner kebab last night it felt sore. This is due to my sensory sensitivity in my moderate to severe Asperger Syndrome. I put a bit of cold water in my Lemsip Cold and Flu this morning plus a teaspoon of granulated sugar. My blood glucose reading at 7:50 Ante Meridian was 8.8 millimoles per litres, a bit hyperglycemic.

Good Morning, my lovely, ever-caring friends on the Diabetes Type 2 Life Forum,

I've just managed to see an Indian lady doctor at my GP and explained that my flow of urine is limited, I've been experiencing chills and shivers, aching in my limbs, fever and poor appetite and she took a sample of my urine, it was a bit hard to pass it, and she diagnosed a urinary tract infection caused by proteins in my urine caused by my diabetes and prescribed me some antibiotics called Trimethoprim 200 mg tablets of which I take one 1 hour before my Lixisenatide injection and 1 4 hours after my injection. She also advised me to take 2 500 mg tablets of Paracetamol 4 times a day. I noticed on my health records Patient Access website the GP are treating me for Asperger Syndrome as my primary diagnosis, diabetes 2, Schizoaffective Disorders, foot arthritis, musculoskeletal pain and I've also had past diagnoses of Personality Disorder NOS as sometimes Aspies are misdiagnosed and misconceptualised with other diagnostic classifications.

My blood glucose after taking my Diabetic medication was 6.3 Millimoles Per Litre and I shall endeavour to abstain from sugar and stick to sweeteners in my tea.

I've just had a shock - my lovely friend the practice nurse has died. I was due to have my regular appointment with her last week but the surgery rang to rearrange it for this morning. I thought she was on a training course or something but when I arrived at the surgery there was a notice saying she had died of a heart attack. I can't even tell A because he's gone to Leicester for the day to meet some friends and I don't want to upset him.

Even nurses are becoming ill, these days. My friend is ill with her asthma. She works long hours as a nurse but neglecting herself. :(

Good Afternoon, my good friend, @Diamum5972 I'm so sorry for the absolutely shocking news. One of my psychiatrists from a previous mental health team died suddenly from a heart attack. Doctors and Nurses help the population a lot and I've received a lot of help from the NHS, not just for my Asperger Syndrome but also my physical health illnesses.

That is sad, and must've been such a shock for everyone. Hope you've been able to tell A.

Normally, Wednesday is my hectic day, with two extra activities after work, but the 2 hours it took to get home (rather than the half hour it usually does,) and the resulting knock on effect both the gridlocked and diverted traffic has had on the evening buses means I cancelled the first, and sent in my apologies for absence at the second.

I was entirely grateful for my somewhat obsessive carrying of extra snacks as I definitely needed some at my usual food time of 5.00 p.m. ish when I was still stuck on a bus. (Hour and a quarter to do what I could've walked in 12 minutes, with a driver who was sticking to the rules of not opening the doors until the next bus stop. Correct of him but at the point yards from the bus stop, when we had parents of school children banging on the bus doors for hi, to release their children and he point-blank refused, most of us would've been very grateful to have been released from the tyranny of bored youngsters stuck on a bus....) I did get off and walk eventually.

So now, I am having a rare Wednesday evening in, doing as little as possible!

Hi all , well this morning Ron couldn't get an appointment so will have another go tomorrow. He phoned occupational health today told them what had happened last night . He got told because of that he has been pushed up their list . He's still in pain. He's been wearing both knee and back brace today. Needless to say there's been plenty of colourful language .

Thanks everyone for your messages of sympathy, I'm still a little shell shocked but feeling better this morning. A got back rather late last night but I was able to tell him before I went to bed, he couldn't believe it either.

I see my dn as a friend too now. They become a huge part in our Iives in times of needing medical assistance. I see my gp more than our practice nurse but I feel I can go to her about anything, not gp if it was female sensitive. They are irreplaceable. :( Extra hugs for a few days for you and son. A sad loss. :(

I can understand how you feel, Barbara. When we develop a good relationship with someone, in any capacity, it's a huge shock when something like this happens. Sending big hugs xx

I'm sorry to hear about your problem, Johnny, but I'm glad that your doctor is dealing with it. Good luck with focusing on your diet to beat this! Sending hugs x
