Exercise is a good way to keep your BG down, I was diagnosed 5 months ago and I've already lost nearly a stone through walking every day. I've also brought my FBG down from the high 7s to low 6sHi guys
Type 2 hyper at the minute any advice from you lovely people would be amazing. I know to try and reduce my carbs and keep on top of medication and diet, but is there anything else that you could suggest to help before medication is adjusted. My doctor issued me with a meter today to test
I couldn't watch cookery programmes on TV and especially GBBO . I'm an all or nothing kind of girl and watching a programme dedicated to food I don't eat would be self-inflicted torture!!

@kjc2011 - Hello. You need to test blood before each meal and then 2 hours after. Keep a food dairy and log all food eaten in that meal and both blood sugar results. By doing this you will see which foods give you spikes. Exercise and Diet will help lower blood sugars. What medication are you taking at the moment?
