Type 2 Life

The trouble is that as I lose more weight even my old trousers are too big now, and I have to buy new stuff. It's a good problem though! :)

6.8 this morning happy it I still under my target 7.0 this week.

@TooManyCrisps I am finding with the LCHF diet that I go into the next kilo down, then cycle up And down by half a kilo for a week then go into next kilo down about 10 days later, so I will go 85, then 85.5, 85, 85,5, 85 And finally 84!

A tad frustrating but I am also finding that I can get into clothes that I was wearing at a much lower weight previously and I am losing the weight in different places than usual.
I don't work in kilos, I'm too old! Although I was weighed at the GP last week and they gave me the weight in kilos - 69, and I had no idea whether that was the same as the reading in stone i have from my bathroom scales!

I've had weeks where my weight has stalled, but it's never gone up. I'll just have to be very disciplined for the next week. I am now in size 12 jeans again - hooray!

Well done on your readings, my morning readings are very rarely below 7 and quite often they are over 8. Its very frustrating!

@TooManyCrisps I like working in kilos, because I gave no idea what they are in reality !!! Kilos to me are just a number where as Stones I know ! Thankfull I have my mother to always tell me the conversion :) "2.2lbs to a Kg 14lbs in a Stone" it's like a mantra !!!

Don't worry too much about 1lb ... could be anything... It'll shift.

Good morning everyone. Well a busy day today. Doctors appointment to get my HBA1C results, retinal eye screening and food shopping. Wow never ends ☺ Wishing you all a good day xx

Morning folks, had another 6.8 today so I'm happy :) I was going to walk to Lidl today but it's raining all day and my brother told me there's a farmers market in town so I'll be going there instead.

Hi I don't like kilos either, give me the stones and pounds anytime. I googled weight conversion and printed off the kilos to stones and pounds, I have it pinned on my desk and use this all the time. Just a thought if any one wants to print one off. :)

Well, for the first time since starting lchf diet, I've put on weight. I'm 1lb heavier than I was last Friday .

I can't think that I've eaten differently in the last week, certainly I've been really good about the carbs. Possibly I have done a bit more nibbling of nuts snd cheese in the evening when i get back from the gym. I'll have to be very strict about that from now on. I've got another stone to lose before September.

Morning FBG was 7.2, it's still too high in the mornings. On the plus side, my other readings through the day to seem to be coming down although they usually start with a 6 rather than the coveted 5.

And its the last day of the working week, which is always a good thing. I hope everyone has a good day.

In the scheme of things if you gain a pound after a week it would be pretty difficult to say if it was real or not.
Do you record your weights and if so, what is the trend like? If you were to remove every other week from your data, how would it look?
I weigh myself ever other Monday morning, after a toilet, it is the second thing I do. When I was losing weight at about 1kg every fortnight the trend was clear, nice curve all the way down to 71kg. Now it bobbles around between 70 and 72 kg.

You've not changed anything fundamental in what you eat/exercise, I would suggest looking at the trend rather than this week against last week.

There is a thread on weigh ins... and some one was weighing themselves three times a day... and that just did my head in.
My thoughts.

Morning Everybody. Not a good night, was up at 3.30am popping a Tramadol and by 4am was out like a light! Woke at 9.30am to a fasting of 6.0. So I am running late for my schedule today. @ickihun never had my crackers & cheese for supper last night - and no sweet/sugary stuff at all yesterday , so was pleased with my reading this morning.:)

William try dropping the crackers and just nibble a few cheese tiny cubes. I bet you would have had a 5. :)

Having a bit of a moan day today. I'm at work and there is nothing in our canteen that is low or lowish carbs . Think I'm going to start bringing my own.

Afternoon. FBG 6.6. Dull but dry here and had lunch. Eating well now and no stomach pain. :)

Just what I needed a Good laugh to put me in a better mood, Thanks @eddie1968
Going shopping now = tomorrow! On Sunday R driving his Son back to Cambridge (for University) and won't be back in York till Monday Evening, so looks like Wednesday for bloods to get done?
He doesn't feel well today, I got up later after a "disturbed" night with a Headache, rushed around getting ready and for what???
Just had my lunch and got coffee and catch up on here. What's everyone else doing?:)

I've been spending a few minutes on the games here while eating lunch (home made burger and scrambled eggs) no 1 son will be here around 2pm so I'm off to marinate the chicken for dinner before he arrives. Enjoy your afternoons everyone

I live in a village just outside Cambridge. If you ever need recommendations for nice places to visit or eat when you're visiting, let me know. Cambridge is a lovely city. Except for the traffic. ..
