Hi all hope your all well, I'm ok. Don't know why but not very motivated today, must be having an off day. Maybe talk later. Have good day everyone
Either one is fine, hon. Thinking about you xx@debrasue
Debra (do you prefer Debra or Debrasue?) Thank you, that was so lovely I had another cry. xx
Thanks to everyone else for the hugs and kind thoughts. xx
Hi folks, hope it's a good one all round.
I'm not feeling too good today, we had a phone call this morning telling us 1 of our nieces had died yesterday. I'm so sad about it. It is less than a year since my sister-in-law (her Mum) lost her husband (hubby's brother), in her words, she's devastated and heartbroken. So if I'm not doing much joining in today, please excuse me.
I won't be going within 100 miles of it, then - I am the world's biggest wuss when it comes to that sort of thing. Had a dreadful time of it when I was a kid, living in a very dodgy 300-year-old house! It's a lovely part of the world up there in Northumberland
Chillingham I think is supposed to be the most haunted place in Britain
So sorry to hear this Karen, sending you massive hugs.Hi folks, hope it's a good one all round.

@debrasue - All the more reason for me wanting to go and visit Chillingham - it's really dark, gloomy and eerie inside I loved it, and there is a big book with all the things that have happened over the centuries to the people who had lived there.![]()
Sounds like just my cup of tea too William, I love a good ghost story! PS like the new avatar too, you're looking very relaxed
Horror movies?@Diamum5972 - Thank You and I too Barbara love Horror Movies, the bloody and gory the better. And haunted houses too, we have Ghost Walks throughout the City and quite a few Pubs here in York that are supposed to be haunted. When I was in Nursing (years ago) and did Night Duty on my own I always hoped I would see the ghost of a lady in Victorian Dress who "stalked" the ward's at night - never did. The hospital was built in 1890's and was very gothic.
I'll stay and look after the dogs!@Cumberland 're Chillingham. If it weren't for the dogs I'd be first on the bus if @Clivethedrive did a haunted places tour of the place.....
Horror movies?Oh noooo!!!
The last one I watched was The Exorcist in 1974 and my GP put me on Valium because I was such a basket-case afterwards! I couldn't even go into our flat on my own once it got dark - I was convinced there was something dreadful lurking up there, so I sat outside and waited until my ex got home from work. (Told you I was a wuss.)

Oh. My. God.![]()
95% horror and that's not all of them. They're in my bedroom as I watched them as I'm drifting off to sleep
