@debrasue - I am having trouble rating you with the emojo's. ???
Here in York we can have a 15 minute wait in the car on the main road just to get in the Hospital. So, York NHS Trust had to construct another separate roadway for the Ambulances to get in to A & E.

P.S. Sorted now Debra - have rated you. :)x

Same here. We have a massive new, state-of-the-art flagship hospital in Bristol, and they're making a right dog's dinner of things. Along with the usual interminable waiting lists, lost notes, vanishing appointments and the revolving-door attitude of the consultants, they have come up with some other interesting new ways to drive patients crazy.
For instance, the department that's furthest from Reception - and we're talking a brisk 15-minute walk - is orthopaedics, which has a good many patients needing replacement hips and knees, among other things. So, obviously, some bright spark decided "Orthopaedics? Yes, let's put that right over here and make those bu**ers walk!"
And the hospital - which opened in 2015 - has 800 beds, without considering outpatients, so it's a little mystifying why they have so far only provided parking spaces for about 400 cars. (And up until this summer it was only half that number.)
Muppets.
Here's another one for you . At our hospital the eye screening is up stairs and yes there is a lift it's tucked away under the stairs . Who plans these departments?

@ickihun -Oh Vicky, You need to tell your other half and ring the GP Surgery 'out of hour's' Service and request a Home Visit. Let me know how you are please? I know it's OK for me saying it - but stay calm and don't Panic.

How is it now?
My breathing has calmed down again. I'm in bed. Shattered. Something isn't right. Its frightening. I'm going to try and sleep but any chest pain I'm going to ring for ambulance again. :(

I agree with William - you need some proper, qualified advice.

The most important thing to do at this stage, honey, is to keep calm, because that will help your breathing. You're OK, just keep calm.

I would call 111; a call centre person will initially ask you for your symptoms and then get a medically qualified person to call you back to discuss it further. They have the capacity to call an ambulance for you if they consider you need it.
I've used 111 on many occasions and all the operatives are very kind and will help to calm you. You can call them as often as you like while you're waiting for a callback. Or you can call me if you want to - you have my number. I can't tell you what's wrong, but I can help you stay calm while you're waiting.

Don't worry.... xxx

@ickihun - Vicky, I have sent you a Private Message and You can ring me also? But, my Dear you have to control your breathing - take slow deep breaths in and exhale slowly, You could be Hyperventilating? And your body might well be telling you that you need Oxygen, go outside and get some fresh air, but breathe in very slowly. If things don't get better, you are going to have to call 111 and speak to someone as @debrasue has already mentioned.

I get that you don't want to go to hospital, but at this stage you don't know what's wrong with you.
Calling 111 can get you closer to the answers, and then you can make an informed decision about what to do.
You don't HAVE to go to hospital just because they suggest it - ultimately it's your decision.
But if they think you need to, they can tell you why. And then you can decide whether to tough it out on your own, or go with the "blues and twos" (except they don't use the 'twos' at night, and you can ask them to turn off the 'blues' if it bothers you).
Please call them, honey - you have nothing to lose and you're not committing to anything.

You know, this could even be down to panic attacks. I just read this online:
Most people with panic attacks experience several of the following symptoms:
  • "Racing" heart.
  • Feeling weak, faint, or dizzy.
  • Tingling or numbness in the hands and fingers.
  • Sense of terror, or impending doom or death.
  • Feeling sweaty or having chills.
  • Chest pains.
  • Breathing difficulties.
  • Feeling a loss of control.
Please call 111, Vicky. They can talk you through this and help you work out what's wrong, either way. xxx

I have Asperger Syndrome which is an autism spectrum condition and a full diagnosis of Adult ADHD which are characterised by impairments in social communication, social interaction and social imagination. I also have a rigid and somewhat unpredictable routine. I also experience obsessive rituals, some a bit overwhelming. But I have a talent in articulate creative writing skills and possess a photographic rote memory. I have sensory sensitivity and get upset by loud noises, bright colours or lights, and notice the texture and consistency of certain foods more making my dietary choices extremely limited or restricted to certain food components. I dislike conflict and lies. The Adult ADHD also makes me very moody and cross.
Good Morning, my fine friends,

I had a good day yesterday and my blood glucose reading was 5.9 millimoles per litre.

Today I woke up at 4:15 Ante Meridian, and noticed my tummy and midriff felt much flatter and my fat had been lost. I can't weigh myself because I haven't got a set of bathroom scales. Yesterday I ate a tomato sandwich around my best friend Lee's flat and a minced beef hotpot ready meal. That's all I ate. I haven't eaten my 2 cans of sardines that my dear old friend Colin bought me yet nor any of the Portuguese toasts from the Portuguese shop on Wilcox Road near where I live. This morning, I had a milky coffee with 3 Sainsbury's artificial sweetener tablets and nothing else. My fasting blood glucose reading at 4:44 Ante Meridian was 6.3 millimoles per litre.

Have a really lovely day, my good, dear chums, and rest assured my mouth is a lot better, thanks to 2 days worth of mouthwash cleansing. I pray your musculoskeletal pain and respiratory problems vanish or improve, dear ikihun, and many special blessings to liam1955 and debrasue. Thank you, abundantly, for all of your encouraging likes and quotes and for upholding me in your prayers as I do for you.
Much love,

Johnny Baker, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome and diabetes 2.

Hello, my lovely friends on this wonderful life-saving forum,

My blood glucose reading at 7:20 Ante Meridian, today, Thursday 8th December, 2016, a fasting blood glucose, was 5.8 Millimoles Per Litre.

Much love to you all in fervent abundance for giving me impeccable advice and showing empathy for my current austerity predicament (austerity, meaning dire economic predicaments ensued by governmental economic restrictions and the recession),

Johnny Baker, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome, a neurodevelopmental condition on the autistic spectrum.
