2 slices bacon 2 fried eggs for breakfast and a chicken kebab (no pitta bread) for dinner. Always buy one as a Saturday night treat. Still hungry so I had 2 crackers with cheese and some salted peanuts. All washed down with 2 glasses of merlot. I love Saturday nights.

During the day I had 1 cup of tea and a coffee with cream.

2 fried eggs 2 slices if bacon with a slice of seeded toast.

Half a cream eclair at my friends. Apparently if you are going to succumb to cake this is a good one! Light and filled with air!!!

Dinner just your average chicken salad followed by 1 cracker and some cheese. A glass of merlot with a few salted peanuts.

5.2 quite a good FBS reading this morning considering the cake!

Sunday is my day of exception for breakfast. My weekday routine breakfast is made of a toasted bread with peanut or almond butter, and coffee with milk. Today I had the additional luxury of a miniplate of omelette.
After breakfast my BG jumped from 113 mg to 144, but it could be much higher had it not been for jogging exercise of 1/2 h.
My jogging routine started 10 days back, and have been able to maintain it, raising 2 kms to 5 kms. distributed between morning and evening sessions.
The net result has been promising. I have practically no need for Humalog before lunch, and my doctor has also suggested that if I continue jogging at the present rate I could drop Levemir 4u before going to bed.
I am now convinced that reversing DT2 is possible with simultaneous diet control and physical exercise.
