Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Breakfast: bulletproof coffee

Lunch: bacon and mushrooms

Tonight: asparagus and eggs followed by Turkish yoghurt and dragon fruit
 
Dinner was half a pack of tongue and mixed salad leaves with garlic & herb sourcream dressing with red pesto....
 
I've never heard of a dragon fruit, what's it like?
Doesn't taste of much really but reportedly helps to balance blood sugars (google it) even though it has about 10g carbs as sugars per fruit. Not cheap but 1 lasts me 4 days. Just thought to give it a whirl. Got mine in Morrisons.

Fasting BG at 10:25am: 5.5
Breakfast: Bowl of Alpen muesli
Lunch: Burger King Chicken Royale; large fries; large Coke Zero
Dinner: Ham sandwiches no trimmings
various times during the day 3 ice creams
after watching the Liverpool match on LFCTV: 1 glass of water
Post meals BG at 10:30pm: 7.3

Medicine: 1gram Metformin, 5mg Linagliptin, 90mg Gliclazide after breakfast
2.5mg Ramipril after lunch
1gram Metformin, 30mg Gliclazide after dinner
 
Breakfast: Chia seed coffee cocoa, nuts, strawberries and pomegranates
Lunch: celery, olives, feta cheese, avocado, radishes, olive oil
Dinner: spatchcock chicken, cabbage, sauerkraut, 2 chocs homemade, white wine, 2 Pysllium caps.
Getting to be more regular....

I see you are a Chia eater as well, love, love, love my Chia seeds...

Hello all. I've been reading this thread frequently since I returned to lchf last week after my absence for a few months as I had fallen off the wagon. I think your ideas for food are great so I thought I would join in.
Breakfast. Raspberries with Greek style yoghurt :)
