Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Banana for breakfast
Tomato soup for lunch
Gammon Potatoes and Mixed Veg for tea
And prob a few ryvita later for supper with salmon spread

Well, last night was the remain of the lamb rogan josh - to which I added celeriac wedges, roasted - really tastey! The OH had rice, made for two serving so she can warm with up for lunch

This morning was omelette with thyme
Lunch, the VERY last of the LRJ - with loads of veggies on the bottom!
Tonight - bargain bin venison mince - I'll do venison burgers and a load of celeriac wedges and maybe some butternut squash, too

The youngest has a carol concert tonight, so we'll be eating late - I'll do my best to snack on walnuts instead of taxing a slice of their pizza!!!!

OK, so pizza tax wasn't on the menu - but I did have some walnuts and an orange.

When we got back I made some venison burgers - lightly sautéed onions and garlic mixed with the mince and some thyme thrown in for good measure...

This morning was an omelette and cheese

Tonight - The Work Christmas Party! Good Behaviour is on the cards... (Yeah!, Right! - I may sustain from bruises after my impending, epic fall from the wagon!)

B: coffee n cream, 2 eggs cooked in butter

L: broccoli, cauliflour, chicken with peri peri mayo

D: chicken drums, broccoli, cauliflour with a.cheese sauce, coke zero

S: 2 x coffee n cream, coke zero, choc thin, ham and cheese

Today I have had a ham sandwich for breakfast as I was out early.
two Rich tea at mid morning.
playing mummy christmas for some little people and had some cheeselet biscuits and fruit.
tonight a battered piece of fish and salad. and a cup of decafe tea.

Bruised, battered & back... AND I've managed to resist this morning's bacon butty run!

This morning has been oodles of coffee, nuts and dried apricots!

Dinner was fab - started off with curried cauliflower soup followed by roasted salmon (resisted the roast spuds and ate loads of carrots) followed by the winter berry mess (Gorgeous and might as well have injected pure tate & lyle into my veins!) followed by a very civilised double espresso. Martinis - 3, white wine, lots, beers 1 - followed by a very unsteady stroll to the tram, a very drunk conversation on the trip back and the kind of cab ride where you get in, tell the cabbie where you're going and then you're there.

Today I'll be taking things easy - fab med veggie lunch

Tonight - the family favourite of chicken legs - sliced onions & garlic softened with slices of chorizo (so they go all red!). Brown the legs, throw in a glass of white wine with the onions, allow to bubble, next goes in stock, thyme and the legs. Simmer the lot for a good half-hour to cook the legs and serve - I'll have the tag end of a butternut squash, the OH will have bread. The boys will have the rest for Friday's supper.

I may well be drinking a lot of water during the rest of the day!

B - wholemilk yoghurt and half a banana.
L - mashed avocado on toast with parsley.
S - peanuts
D - steamed broccoli, garlic, leek & potato with butter.

Not buying anymore bananas now I've finished them - switching to berries, or having eggs or fish for breakfast. Still eating too many carbs - *sigh* - got to give up either potatoes or bread next.

Well, last night was the infamous chicken legs, with savoy cabbage (cooked with streaky bacon and garlic and a healthy dose of parmesan cheese)... A glass of white, a haircut and an early bed!

This morning was omelette and coffee

Lunch will be the med veg box

Supper - some bargain bin partidge breasts - I think some celeriac wedges and perhaps spinach. A glass of red to go with.

Last Friday at work - three working days left... not that I'm counting!

It's been such difficult week, plates of delicious treats being offered everywhere I went :-( My performance has been poor, will-power zero!

So, it's back on track for me.

Breakfast was Museli, Greek yoghurt and a few fresh Strawberries.
(I am experimenting with some German low carb, high protein museli by Layenberger,
very expensive if you add on postage, nearly £10 for 500g. but a little goes a long way)

Lunch - Prawns, salad, mayo and a small Josephs Low Carb Mini Pita

Dinner - Stir Fry Veg with Pak Choi and Thinly cut strips of steak
Fresh Fruit Salad and Cream

@amanda19640 I ask myself the same question sometimes. I think its our bodies way of telling us we dont need that anymore. I also find the things I used to really enjoy just dont taste the same anymore. Hope your stomachs settled down now :)
