Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Share what you've eaten today with the rest of the DCUK community and maybe steal a few ideas for yourself!

Low carb contributions are of course welcomed, but please keep in mind that this is not the low carb diet section, and debates about diet should be kept out of this thread. Happy posting! ;)
1 x Sliced seeded toast with scrambled eggs microwaved
 
Boiled egg
little tin of vienna sausages
Black coffee
Ox-tongue and gyoza
More black coffee
Green beans and beef mince
Chamomile tea

Trying to lose weight and cut down on alcohol; this was enough to keep me happy today.
 
B = none
L = none
D = 8oz Rib eye steak with broccoli, cauliflower & green beans.
S = Lidl protein roll with Blue Shropshire cheese.
S +1 = 2 slices burgen bread with Ardennes pate.
In bed 6 squares 81% lidl dark chocolate. ( pig out night )
2 bottles of Merlot during evening.
 
BS on waking was 5.9 Got up at 9:30, 2 coffees with cream

BS at 13:00 was 6.1. Had brunch of a 3 egg omelette with parmesan and onion and one slice of gluten free crispbread with more butter :-)

In the afternoon had a pot of earl grey tea with small splashes of skimmed milk (had guests, I don't drink cows milk normally)

BS at 1500 was 6.9
BS at 2000 was 6.2

Dinner at 2030 (later than normal!) was a wild venison shank slow roasted for 8 hours (!) with white wine, garlic and herbs with cauliflower parmesan mash, and 2 glasses white wine.

BS at 2200 was 6.4

Mmmmm..... Sundays :-)
 
Breakfast: coffee with cream
Lunch: celery, cheese, 4 cherry toms.
Supper: Homemade pizza (almond & soya flour base -actually really tasty), with pepperoni, red peppers, &

Not spikes above 1 after meals:)
(would be smugger if BS levels were down below 6 yet !!!)
Keep going like that and it will happen :-)
 
Half rockmelon for breakfast.

3 eggs mushrooms carrot broccoli for lunch.

Spaghetti with ricotta, tomato, chicken and green beans for dinner.

I must say today eating less carbs I have no hunger headaches or pains. Fantastic!
 
2 bacon rashers and 2 poached eggs for breakfast 8am
boiled ham,curly kale and cauliflower cheese for dinner 5pm
2 pieces of 85% dark chocolate and a handful of brazil nuts evening snack.9pm

I had a banana and two small crackers!
 
6 large mugs off strong instant coffee for breakfast a can of big soup a large can of processed peas and one slice bread and butter evening two strong cups of two tea bag tea and a packet of marmite crisps.
Bs 5.4 on waking max of 15.6
 
Good morning all my friends for breakfast 40g porridge oats 6 raspberries one for snak lidl's roll and one slice of lean ham and for lunch two sausages 3 slices of lean back bacon and boiled tomatoes :)
 
B = 0 fat Greek yoghurt with little sprinkle of nas muesli

L= salad box (home made) and pea crisps

Snacks carrot sticks and celery sticks


D 3 sausage and 2 big mushrooms with cheese baked

2L water
1L diet tonic water

1 square 100% chocolate
 
So far, poached egg with one slice of wholemeal bread, and a chicken and mushroom soup.
