5.8 quite pleased with that but if I have a high fasting (for me above 6.5) it starts me of on the wrong foot for most of the day

    6.6 this morning better than yesterday's 7.
No meds yesterday as changing to metformin sl on Monday. Readings before breakfast 6 after 5.9, lunch 5.9 after 5.7, dinner 6 after 6.1. The question now is do I need meds or should I try to control with diet only?

4.6 this morning - courtesy of a decidedly fishy evening meal last night (couldn't be bothered to cook so the mackerel and smoked salmon came out!)
