Bernstein thinks a truely non diabetic level is 4.5 mmol or below , and some also Think that any number over 5.0 mmol when fasting is a diabetic level , But that is NOT the official guidelines and officially one is only considered prediabetic when levels are higher than 6.1 mmol more than once and fullblown diabetic when fasting levels are more than 7.0 mmol And when ones HbA1c is more than 48.
