Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Fbg 10.2 after testing 2hr been up. 4yr old blow our electricity. Panic stations and upset to comfort whilst finding the moved torch and tripping fuse box to resolve. Only fan in living room he pressed two buttons at same time and it kicked off fuse. All OK now but adrenaline rush to settle down autistic caused fears in others.
Maybe would have been in 8s as went to bed on 6s but didn't block liver dump.
6 to 10 in rest then excitement. We diabetics do take some punishment. Insulin nor metformin was any help either.
I can see why some just say....no longer interested. My depression kicking in, maybe.

Well done, no insulin. I took approx. 216 units (72 triple strength toujeo300) of basal this morning and wonder if I'll ever get rid of it. On M3 it circulated for longer so I was tricked into thinking I wasn't needing any. A few days later I was sky high in double figures. I thought I was close to getting away with none. :(

At least you know why. Let dn and gp see for themselves the effect you cannot prevent. Hopefully more diabetes help coming your way hun. Test so they have no excuses. I'm feeling hopeful for you ally. Loads more help out their for you so don't stress. Test and prove. They might need 3 mths of effects from increased drug. In interim if seeing dn point out neuropathy getting worse and cannot afford too many double figures. They cannot ignore this! We are here, as always hun. ;)

You've had a bad start to the day, and from the sound of it you handled it and sorted the problems. Now you need to cut yourself some slack, do something for you. I don't know much about diabetes but from the little I do know a de stress would do you good. Could anyone childmind for a bit so that you can unwind. Sending you hugs . I have seen your support of others, just wish I had the right words for you xxx
 
Forgot to post yesterdays - 5.4 at 7.40 am (had been 5.9 at 11.25 pm, took 3 units of Levemir).

This morning was 6.4 at 8.30 am - had been 5.9 at 11.50 pm, but I reduced my Levemir to 2 units.

First time for over four weeks that I've been over 5.9 - will have to see how it goes for the next few days.
