Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Good Moring everyone, reading a bit later than normal, I had a tiny lie in following yesterdays shopping trip, oopage moment and celebrations, 5.9 was what it said.
Got to work and was planning to book half day annual leave for tomorrow, start my holiday a little bit early, I can now take the WHOLE DAY as the training session that was booked is not happening, attendees can't now make it
 
Good Morning! 7.8 at 0720.
These higher fbg readings over the last few weeks are getting me worried. I am seeing gp next week to review latest HbA1c results, and if my readings are still in the 7s next week I might ask whether I should go on metfornin.
