Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

This morning before breakfast finger prick was 4.5 been similar for last few weeks, struggling to eat no appetite. Had rough year finishing off with being rushed into hospital suspected stroke, wasn’t stroke was sepsis. Really ill didn’t know I was in hospital until two days before being discharge, on 30 July took me until just few weeks ago to start feeling better.

Today's FBG reading isn't great. May I suggest you telephone your GP's reception desk tomorrow morning and ask for the earliest available appointment with your doctor. Don't wait for them to contact you. S/he may want to adjust your medication.

Meanwhile, are you doing everything possible to keep carb intake low?
