Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Just had to say that in my opinion every one who posts here is a winner and should be congratulated for doing their utmost to take control of their diabetes and their lives so here's my best wishes to you all.

This morning my reading was quite high for me

9.0 - normally between 4 - 6.

5.3 at 7am, lowest it's ever been, i think,. I suspect the half bottle of red wine I demolished last night is the reason, but I'm nor complaining!

Thank you very much a great post I am sure we all extend our best wishes to you in return

5.6 at 6.30am when I surfaced for a wee; 6.5 when I woke again again just before 3pm .

It's windy and rainy after a beautiful sunny day yesterday - my excuse to sleeping all day...but I don't actually feel 100% again yet.

Good Morning from the great southern land

4.7

6.2 millimoles per litre. I've not eaten anything since the early hours when I ate one moderately small apple. I've had 4 glasses of tap water and 1 mug of instant coffee, with 1 x 5 ml spoonful of Red Mountain coffee granules, 1 x 5 ml spoonful of Nido Milk Powder and 2 Silver Spoon 0 calories artificial sweetener tablets.

Good morning.
6.0 @10pm
7.4 @6am
Pretty understandable given that, I had an extra smoothie I had last night.
I also have a touch the sniffles as well.

Post breakfast 2hr and 1.5hrs gym 8.0

but around 11pm I was feeling rubbish, registering 4.5 so at 3 Jelly Babies to try 'sort me out'. Guessing the high reading today is a result.
