Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

7 at 7.10am
Bkfast was coffee, a few nuts and spoonful of cottage cheese. (I wasn't hungry but just ate these to avoid liver dumping.)
Two hours later, bgl was 8.7
What am I doing wrong? Not enough breakfast?
@v4victory are you being doing a strict lchf diet? No high carb cheats?
If I didn't know better I would say yesterday's and day before's carbs are still lingering in your system. Fasting blood levels are the last to be reduced on lchf diet and the liver can only be blamed for dumping when carbs are at a minimum. Carbs in the diet makes the liver fatty and it struggles to work properly.
My advice of tricking the liver only works on lchf diet.
Maybe your carb intake is still too much for your body, still.

A massive 20.3 over double what it normally is. A little concerned
Have you washed your hands and tested again Jason? You could try going for a walk and having plenty of water to help flush your system, just don't get caught short on your walk! Are you maybe coming down with flu?
