Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

My GP said I'm not diabetic but mine was 6.3 and I'm looking at the majority of replies in this thread like...
@LittleWolf we have to work hard to get our 6s. None diabetics are in their 6s from time to time. Your doctors blood test will be better proof. What number was that?
Have you a meter to test for your 6.3?

Have a look around the forums and have a read at successes. I find a great place to start. Ask questions in ask question forum. There are thousands of members who want to help. Enjoy!
See you tomorrow morning here. :)
My BG was 8.5 at 2.30 (got up VVV early to go to Billingsgate!) and then just tested it again and it's 9.1!! Not eaten anything yet so why is it higher?!!:(:oops:o_O:banghead:

@DEB260173 Probably due to 'Dawn Phenomenon' where your liver dumps stored glucose into your bloodstream as you wake to get you going for the day.

6.5 (and before bed last night it was 5.5)

Not unhappy with that as I still have a few sniffles .... sniff .. see!!!

If it continues to rise, ask if your metformin being increased would help?
Otherwise its just the variant on your meter. They all have them.
Well done for remembering to test that early. :)
