Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Well it's now three weeks of exceptional readings on the whole. 4.3 today and suspect I will be decreasing the Lantus once again shortly!

Well done, that man!
You're doing better than me - I collided with a stray bacon sandwich this morning and now I'm running at 7.8 :(
I'm wheat intolerant Debs so have the free from cereal with almond milk which does nothing to my BG so also have a pack of the belvita breakfast biscuits as there slow release

11.1 on rising at 10.00. I have shingles and that probably explains it...not that it very much matters to my bloods!

8.2 but "this morning" was closer to lunchtime , it was 7.3 before I went to bed at 3.00 am and I spent all yesterday after lunch between 5.6 and a peak of 8.2 which is a vast improvement on my early readings.

I would be very pleased with any morning readings under 7, its only happened once , though I am finding more and more of my day is now spent between 5.6 and 8 which is encouraging, I'm hoping that the morning numbers might com down naturally eventually as I lose the weight. I am happy to let that take a little time if it keeps me off the drugs.
