Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

6.5 ;) out for Fathers Day lunch yesterday, made good choices but you can't always check carb content in a restaurant can you. Day relaxing at home today so control is back :)

Great morning results after a night out... bet your pleased:)


Diagnosed 13/4/16: T2, no meds, HbA1c 53, FBG 12.6, Trigs 3.6, HDL .75, LDL 4.0, BP 169/95, BPM 85, 13st 8lbs, waist 34" (2012 - 17st 7lbs, w 42").

16/6/16: FBG AV 4.6, Trigs 1.5, HDL 2.0, LDL 3.0, BP 112/68, BPM 6O, 11st 5lbs, waist 30", PWV 7.0. Lifelong migraines and hay fever gone.

Regime: 25g LCHF, run 1 mile daily, weekly fasting, occasionally longer fasts.
 
Fbg 9.7 and I don't know why.
Mind u when i did my insulin there was a problem with it's tip and only got half the insulin I twisted for. I wonder if same happened last night?
I should have tested again just before sleep.
God if a type 1 had that they could be dead!

Like I've had no insulin at all! Argh!!! :banghead: :(
 
5:7 at 9:45- up late. It's a Sunday . Fbgs now seem to be less than my 2 hours post meal. Liver has got the message just need pancreas to get it now

6.3 was 8.2 before bed but i was in bed most of yesterday with a bad cough and head. Is the rise normal when you dont feel well?
Yes an infection or illness is likely to raise your bs reading. I went up to 8s and even a 9 when I had a sore throat and cold.
It should fall again as you get better.
